Lovely Sunday roast in a gorgeous Elizabethan atmosphere. Not rushed and to top it all draft Adnams get in there!!!

Lovely and cosy pub, I would suggest it to any well behaved person that wants to enjoy a good pint. the people that work in the Cross Keys are absolutely wonderful.

Great adults only night out with great food, lovely atmosphere and very attentive staff....following all the rules making our experience a very enjoyable and safe one....we'll be back and recommendeding...thank you Voir le carte

Sampled the curry night tonight, excellent food and portion size. Lovely atmosphere with fantastic service. Would absolutely recommend coming here, you won't be disappointed! Planning my next visit for steak night ?

Me and my children, Enjoyed some good homemade food tonight from cross keys?? Helpful and kind staff and nice chilled drinks Not only that but great prices and a little treat after Where else can you order from and get rewards earning a free meal. Excellent

We stayed here last night in Room 15, an absolutely delightful four poster room. Evening dinner was delicious and the breakfast was outstanding. The whole establishment is full of superb spaces with historic artifacts. The hosts are staff were just brilliant. Thoroughly enjoyable stay and would highly recommend. Voir le carte

Posted on behalf of my friend. Becky and David were kind enough to provide a beautiful and perfectly fitting venue to conduct my husband's humanist funeral in the Cross Keys function room. They could not do enough to accommodate my wishes and the ambiance of the whole place lent itself to a wonderful final send off for him.

We decided to try this restaurant based on a recommendation, and it certainly lived up to our expectations. As soon as we walked in, it felt like they knew us by name, which was quite impressive. We had made a reservation, and the staff made sure to inquire about any allergies or dietary restrictions, which was a nice touch. We were seated promptly, and the attention to detail was impeccable. We had the pleasure of speaking with the owners, who had a great sense of humor and made us feel very comfortable. The four of us had starters, main courses, and desserts, and without exaggeration, we had the best steaks we've ever had. The homemade desserts were a delightful end to the meal, far better...

I’ve spent a few nights here and have been able to experience an amazing old England atmosphere whilst being surrounded by kind and welcoming people.. the owners are very family oriented and adoring people, who enjoy the old England history and artefacts, as reflected inside the hotel walls. Wherever you eyes take you, you’re bound to find historical pieces and art.. the overall structure of the building also very well reflects the historical aspect of old England. The rooms themselves are each very different in look and personality yet equally link to the old England theme, no room is the same. Alongside of its looks, the food is equally as impressive.
