First time here and we weren't impressed. This was for my boyfriends Birthday. Our fish over cooked I even commented when it arrived and nothing. Macaroni cheese like mush. Kids loved their pizzas though.

If you are thinking about staying/eating/drinking at The Craigie just stop thinking about it and book it. I echo the sentiments of the other star reviews Pound for pound the best hotel experience ive had in years!

Lovely hotel in a quiet location. We found it easy to get in to Edinburgh and on the right side of the city for the nearby hills and journey south. Comfortable room and a great range if options for breakfast, the hotel staff were friendly and attentive. Having a coffee maker in the room as well as tea was lovely.

Extremely Enjoyable experience. Bedrooms were quiet comfortable and the hotel exceptionally maintained. Breakfast and Dinner were top quality. The winner here is the staff. Felt like Family Friends all were courteous, pleasant and had lots of recommendations for places to see visit in Scotland. Definitely a return visit in store.

Off the beaten track and amongst residential housing! Lovely hotel, well situated for Edinburgh city and Roslyn Chapel. See my other reviews .The hotel is clean and tidy. Great staff, polite and friendly. Evening dinner was amazing. And breakfast was to order. Anything that's on the menu including the cakes. The salmon and scrambled eggs was very tasty. Highly recommend this hotel and if we visited Edinburgh again we're likely to come stay here.

We had our wedding here in September this year. The event staff were amazing, the bar staff on the day were incredible and everyone commented on how attentive they were. Every wish was met, all the little creative extras were there and they even did a signature cocktail for us. We had several rooms booked out for ourselves and guests. I could not recommend this more as a venue, it's reasonably priced and highly personalised. Thank you so much to all the team, for hosting such a lovely day for us and our friends.

Lovely rooms and great breakfast. We stopped by here on the way to a wedding in Edinburgh. Our room was great, spacious and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was also great, and had a good vegetarian selection. We had initially planned to have dinner here as well but ended up arriving 3 hours late due to traffic. The only negative was that there was a party on the night we arrived which meant our room was quite noisy until about 23:30. Overall, however this hotel was great and we would stay again if we were in the area.

Lovely place to stay, very clean,the staff are excellent, extremely friendly and welcoming. Plenty of car park spaces. The room was nicely decorated and furnished, the bed was comfortable and was very peaceful, no traffic noise whatsoever which is a problem at many other hotels I've stayed at. The restaurant is very good, prices are about average but food quality is above average, nice atmosphere in the restaurant and serving staff are very courteous and helpful. Breakfast was lovely and again the staff were polite and friendly the only thing I could probably say to improve the breakfast is maybe have a self service section for cereals/toast and drinks etc to save calling the staff over when...
