"we wanted to leave brixham, but past this place and thought it looked nice, so we went and pulled our car into another parking lot and went back. When we went into the door, we were hit. when we asked for a table, the man just said out of the house and went away as if we were a massive inconvenience. we will not disturb to come back or recommend others. such a shame, maybe polite. the restaurant had only one table at this point, and I understand that they were completely booked. but it doesn't have to be so rude. a young waiter tried to say hello and be welcoming, but the older man cut him off. If that had not happened, we would have booked for another night."

have eaten here often. food is always consistent with a high standard and the right size portion. owners are big and up to earth. good drink selection, would recommend the fallen angel vanille around

Great experience at the Cow shed. Food is rustic, portions generous and tasty and the atmosphere relaxed and inclusive. The polite and sharp humour and banter from staff rounds of a great restaurant experience. We enjoyed it Thank you!

I think the owner paul is fantastic!? he makes the place and is a great reason why we love every year in vacation! brilliant tantigam and a good laugh that by looking of some people do not get or understand by looking at some critikens. fantastic eating and we can't wait to go back next year, thank you!
