"The Cornish Pudding is a must. This is the deluxe of Bread n Butter Puddings. Delicious as a dessert. It is a highly flavoursome combination of pastries on offer. That's what enticed me in each day to savour as my new favourite treat. Pasties ..glorious selection of pasties, full of flavour, chunky meaty filling in traditional pasties. In fact the large traditional pastie, was too much to eat on top of Scafell Pike, however three dogs sensed food on offer and woofed down the remaining half pastry n all. The Spiced Cauliflower Onion Bhaji pasty is also a scrumptious variation. Loved the coffees. Cappuccino with chocolate sprinkles. The highly chocolatey Mocha, yummy with a fresh Pain Aux Raisins. Another favourite. All freshly prepared by the friendly and helpful staff and if you get there at the end of the day, wait for the bell to announce reduced pricing to £1.50 a pastie or two for £2. What more could you wish for. Definitely be back again next time in Keswick as the treats I stocked up on will soon be devoured."

Called in for breakfast takeout- there was only one member of staff, trying her best to bake, make coffee and serve. That is too much for the first shift of the day. The food was good and the lady working there was friendly but there...are plenty of other options in Keswick.

I came here back in February with my family and popped back with my hubby recently, it's one of my favourite places to come for a home made scone with clotted cream and jam. The staff are so polite and friendly and the coffee is...lovely. I will be a regular from now on and definitely be retuning on my next trip

perfectly located in the center of keswick, but also just 2 minutes walk from fitz parks where, as we did, they can enjoy eating at the bottom of the river greta. we had traditional steak bags, bark meat and telton and roll. everything. the surprise was the cornish pudding. fruity and sweet. had not recommended it yet. great and friendly service of natasha and emily as well. Visited today, ordered a chai latte and cheese scone. chai latte took 15 minutes (wasn't a busy day) and my cheese scone was completely raw!!! god knows what the other pasties which contain meat are like or if they are even safe to eat! has...completely turned my stomach even thinking about it!!! staff definitely need some serious training otherwise people can get seriously ill in the future if this continues to happen! Will not be returning!!!!

after a long walk in keswick we needed coffee and a snack, but everything closes around 4.30 and around 4.15 we gave up until we found the maisbäckerei and the 5.30 closing time. win! we ordered coffee, cold coffee and green tea with some croissants and other things to eat. everything was nice and served hot and fresh. the personal was very helpful when we found out what to order and even if we try to find a baby change facility, but we did. there were some customers after us how we sat and the personal was really nice to them, customer service was brilliant everywhere. everything was clean and tidy. a great scream after natasha and naomi, so friendly, helpful, patient, friendly and all to d...
