After shopping in Wymondham, we stopped at a nearby car park and took some time to relax in the courtyard of the coffee shop. We had delicious flat white coffee and cakes at a reasonable price.

Lovely little cafe. I used to come here many years ago so it was lovely to revisit although I believe its different owners now. Decorated nicely. Table service. Simply menu nothing complicated. Clean. Friendly staff. Good price. Friendly place. Lovely to sit and watch the world go by. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch

This charming cafe offers exceptional service and is well-maintained to a high standard. It is a favorite spot for my partner in Wymondham. I recently enjoyed The Coffee Shop Breakfast, which was generously sized and reasonably priced (I requested no tomato). My partner raves about the superior coffee. I highly recommend giving this cafe a try – I would give it a perfect 10 out of 10 rating. Voir le carte

The staff at this restaurant are extremely friendly and attentive. The food is absolutely delicious, especially the macaroni cheese and lasagne. The tea is served in proper tea pots and has a great flavor and strength. I highly recommend this place for lunch, with prices ranging from £10 to £20 per person. Overall, a fantastic dining experience with top marks for food, service, and atmosphere.

We were served a generous pot of tea for two and a large slice of coffee and walnut cake, which was made on the premises with free range eggs. The table was clean and the service was prompt, polite, and friendly. The staff were dressed in uniforms, indicating a professional service. The cafe was busy with mostly local customers who were happy to reuse items. There was enough competition in the town for customers to choose from. We could see the kitchen area from our seats, showing that the staff were not hiding anything. We were very pleased with the service and the reasonable prices. The atmosphere was very relaxed. We would definitely return. Thank you for a great experience.

"Where do I even begin? The service from the woman behind the bar was shocking. When I inquired about dairy-free options for my son, I was told that nothing could be modified and that they don't cater to allergies at all! I pointed out the menu's claim that they could accommodate such needs, but my concerns were met with an eye roll. I then tried to order him some chips, but was told they were fried in the same oil as dairy and meat products, and since we are vegetarian, that wouldn't work. I asked about the vegan dishes, only to learn that they are also prepared alongside meat products, so there's no guarantee they would actually be vegan. At this point, my daughters had already become excited about eating out and the play area, so I reluctantly decided to go along with it and ordered three sandwiches on granary bread and a child's fish and chips. My son had a packet of crisps. When the sandwiches arrived, they were absolutely terrible. The cheese and onion sandwich consisted of two slices of cheap store-bought bread, some pre-grated cheese, and a few onion slices—without even a hint of butter! It certainly wasn’t inexpensive; we paid £45 for four soft drinks, three sandwiches, and a child's meal. As for the play area, it was concerning—there were sharp screws poking through the wood chips, loose sharp fixtures on top of the slide, and a large exposed electric cable under the swings! We decided to leave swiftly; it was such a disappointing way to end our holiday, when it should have been a lovely final meal before heading home. I was appalled by their attitude towards me—I felt like an inconvenience. The food was awful, and I genuinely recommend avoiding this place if you are vegan or have allergies; even if a dish is labeled vegan, they certainly don’t take the necessary precautions to keep it separate from meat products. It’s truly unfortunate, as the location by the river is beautiful, and we were all so excited to be there, but we left feeling very disappointed. We definitely won't be returning."
