"absolutely amazing. we've tried all three business now and this one hasn't failed us. the fresh of the fish and the thin light crispy teig omg so yum! I tried the cajau then plaice and they can taste clearly the different and the fresh in both. Although we came here for the monkfish, they don't have it today with some others. oysters were so small, did not whelks the big ones we expected and was a little sandy, the tarter sauce tasted a little so that we stop eating. overall it was really good, especially we tried the ones in leicester who cost the same, but it was the worse chippy ever. Therefore we appreciate this now much more after the poor lol the total bill came to £36 for lunch that was not bad. the price has certainly risen and the part slightly reduced, but I do not think about paying for the amazing taste at all! still the best by far!"

Great chips. Had one of the homemade pies. Very tasty. Great food, reasonable prices. Oh and they sell alcohol take away as well.

Awful service, part of the take out order ‘forgotten’, attitude of staff poor. Ripoff when you have to return and they just give you a smaller portion of what was missed! Never again, rubbish service. Voir le carte

Terrible , order and payed for large chips, large cod and small cod 3 curry sauce to take out. Not rushed off their feet as only one other couple eating in, got home and no chips, just two fish and curry sauce! Went back and they seemed unsure and just said sorry mate and then gave a small chips. Couldn’t be bothered to argue with them, not worth it. Need to get with the service, feel like it’s gone down hill as staff just couldn’t be bothered! Robbed as over £21!

how happy were we to visit my laws in long eaton and come over this jewel. Unfortunately there was no lobster, thunfish or crumb on the day we came (non-fresh arrival), but the scallops and monks were amazing. for all keto pendants, I don't eat brot or other carbohydrates and it was still an amazing experience: the fish was baked (not baked) and I also had saphir as side. the wine on the glass also comes from a very good selection. Besides eating, the music was brilliant on this day (16/02). English food at its best! I would send every French biggot there to experience the cod scallops (I am allowed as I am French)! keep them on the love of eating I can not wait to be back
