Had a fantastic time at the quiz last night with Sam and Reece as our delightful and welcoming hosts. Great job, guys!

Ticks every box most pubs don’t anymore. Decent pints, solid service, good food. Lights dimmed, atmosphere was lively. What more do you need.

The Guinness was perfect, and as an Irish person, I can be very particular. The food was also amazing, especially the fritters made by Shy. I highly recommend this restaurant.

We booked the private room for our work Christmas lunch and evening drinks. The staff were so helpful in the lead up and on the day were all brilliant. We absolutely loved it and couldn't recommend it more as a party venue. Voir le carte

Turned off the football with 5 minutes to go. No upfront warning and complete disregard when questioned. So rude. Won’t be going back! We asked why they didn’t warn people upfront so we could have gone somewhere else to which he replied ‘yeh I could have but what?’.

This pub has now re-opened and we were shocked to see that the many newly plants&shrubs out in the front ARE DYING and dry starved of water. So whoever is the manager FOR GODS SAKE GET OUT THERE AND WATER THEM. IT LOOKS REALLY BAD. THEY WILL NEED A GOOD SOAKING WITH LOTS OF WATER AND I HOPE YOU DO THIS... THEY WILL NEED TO BE WATERED REGULARLY TO HVE ANY CHANCE OF SURVIVAL. SO YOU OR YOUR STAFF GET OUT THERE WHEN YOU START IN THE MORNINGS AND WATER. MANY THOUSANDS HAVE BEEN SPENT ON REFURBISHING SO THIS IS JUST NEGLECT. IF YOU CANT BE BOTHERED WITH KERPING THE BEAUTIFUL PLANTS FED THEN DONT HAVE THEM. IT RUINS THE IMAGE.. GET WATERING.

We came here for Sunday lunch to meet friends. I am gluten intolerant so had checked the menu in advance and seen that there was a gluten free burger available. Unfortunately, when I tried to order, the waitress said that the burgers had gluten in! She was very friendly and went to check with the kitchen what I could eat, but it seemed odd that the menu was wrong (and that the veggie/vegan food was clearly marked but nothing to do with allergens . When our food did arrive, we felt that it was overpriced for what it was. For us, the music was also far too loud we couldn't hear each other speaking (though, granted, we didn't ask for it to be turned down we assumed that most people liked it! .... Voir le carte
