Celebrated my mums 60th and my 40th Birthday. The service was impeccable and catered to all our needs and the food quality was high end. Will definitely celebrate any occasions here. This restaurant is fantastic and definitely worth a visit. The service is excellent. The atmosphere is lovely. The price per person for a dinner meal is £70-80. The food is top-notch, and I would rate it a 5 out of 5. I would highly recommend trying the Char Grilled Sirloin Steak with either the Choice Garlic Butter or Peppercorn Sauce. For vegetarians, I highly recommend this restaurant as well.

I had dinner at this charming pub tonight. The establishment was very clean and pleasant, perfect for celebrating special occasions. The large garden area is particularly beautiful, especially at night. The staff was polite and helpful. The food was delicious with generous portions, but it was on the pricier side. I was extremely disappointed with my experience at Chequers. It is unfortunate because the restaurant itself is nicely decorated and the service from the staff is professional and attentive. However, the food was a letdown. During lunch with my friends, we found that the starters were not freshly made. The main dishes with red meat were undercooked and tough, the lobster tail seemed to be frozen and had a rubbery texture with a chlorine-like taste (I took one bite and decided not to eat it due to the off taste).
