Absolutely disgusting the way they treat people with mental health issues they refused my emotional support/assistance dog although other Wetherspoons have been happy to have her

Great drinks. Great atmosphere. Special mention to Jarrod. Needs a pay rise! Such a lovely member of staff, especially as the manger herself spoke to us rather cold and sharply. Jarrod searched for straws for us all and engaged us into the easter raffle. We will definitely return if Jarrod is here

Manager CONNOR RUDE, unprofessional, arrogant and clearly has a problem with his eyes as he just gives daggers every few minutes … 10/10 wouldn’t recommend him. Floor staff (females) lovely and female manager was okay but appears her hands were tied as it was battle of the managers … PS don’t ask for RED wine because you will get WHITE from CONNOR Cocktails are from a can/carton and if doesn’t taste right that’s “not their problem” … save your money and spend it elsewhere

I ordered a gin and tonic with my meal it came in a dirty glass with lip marks all around the edge of glass, on taking back to bar they put in another glass ,which I then looked at glass and was no different was served in another dirty glass with bits of what looked like dried bits of lemon on taking back I asked have the glasses been washed I ended up wiping the glass myself with a serviette and drank my drink through a straw so not really happy not what I would call hygienic. One of the nicest Wetherspoons I have been to. Lovely friendly atmosphere. The staff were all hard working, but a particular thank you to Beth. It was really busy and she was working alone on the bar for a time, but went out of her way to be friendly, while working really hard to serve everyone as quickly and efficiently as possible. I have worked a bar and know how hard it is to please everyone when it is busy, but thumbs up to Beth, she is a treasure for any management to keep hold of.

I visit daily And with grown family The staff are helpful and cheerful The food is variable but if mentioned to the staff the problem usually rectified The best dish is the steak which is always cooked to my liking,without exception The pub is unpretentious and meets many people’s needs Kevin, a server, is a very personable young man He’s fitted in well But now pulls a great pint of ale The staff and management are focused My visits, solo, or with family are always enjoyable Ps might there be some black sparklers for the ales? Happy days

MrDW was excited to be here as he frequented this place in his youth, before it was Wetherspoons. 1st visit we had the breakfast a drink for just over £11, very impressive prices! We sat by the window in the sunshine. I was puzzled to see a couple of kids walk in, take out their books, get stuck into their studies. Not a problem, but tell me Timbo, is this a new thing? 2nd visit we had the breakfast again. As we sat there an elderly woman approached asked if anyone was sitting on the 3rd stool of our table. We were leaving but didn’t intend to leave so suddenly. I felt we were pushed out as she clambered upon her stool, began to chat like we were old muckers, she told us that it was her tabl...
