I decided for the fried chickenburger and friends had the halloumi burger. the burgers were very customizable and tasty and the beer garden is dog friendly with water for thirsty dogs. I did not try the steaks that looked really good, but for a quick bite with a few pints I can recommend the royal oak."

great location, perfect when they just get out of the bus and a small refreshment, nice company before the home trip.

At £40 a night this was good value for money. At this price don't expect to be in the lap of luxury. It's comfortable but it's a little tired. Ideal for our motorcycle trip though.

excellent eating. great service. my wife had made half a hugging with a pot of her house, chips, mais on the bob and coleslaw. while I had the lamb shank with a large macular and garden bass. we're coming back.

Nice place to stay, clean, basic accommodation, great central location to use as a base for going out and about. Staff very polite, accomodating, helpful and friendly. Went out of their way to help us have a great weekend. Would definitely stay again xxx
