A genuine, straightforward country pub with a rural vibe. The staff are fantastic, the draft Guinness is excellent, and the locals have plenty of character.

Charming traditional pub tucked away in the scenic Quantock Hills. I can't praise the ham, egg, and chips enough—it's truly one of the best I've ever had. If you find yourself in the area, be sure to stop by. Location: 5/5

Ashamed to have been duped into staying here in the past. At the time I felt it best not to leave a review as I prefer not to make negative posts, now I see they support the staghunts. So keep away if you abhor cruel, illegal 'sport ' Hell I wish I 'd known this! Rooms: 1 Service: 1 Location: 1

A disappointment from start to finish. Pub is really old and every corner shows this. If you have young children beware of the windows as they open wide with no locks. The only plus was the staff were very friendly and the bar prices were cheap. Food drinks: I expected the food to be what a country pub should serve, however the menu was very short. The specials had been warmed up in a microwave and the ploughman's was a total disappointed. I believe the chef thinks he is in central London as it's trying to be too posh.

Good place for a short stay. Stayed for two nights to attend our daughters wedding at Crowcombe Court. A few minutes walk away. Carew arms is an exceedingly quirky old Inn in absolutely gorgeous surroundings. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Rooms are clean and ours was spacious with a super king size bed and plenty of complimentary tea and coffee in room with complimentary toiletries in bathroom that had a shower over bath supplied with white towels. Breakfast is cereal, cooked food is at an extra cost. Our room was over the wooden bowling alley and could hear every roll of the ball, great for the children. Outside has a garden with beautiful views of the area. Would recommend that if... Voir le carte
