Quirky cafe which generous portions! Only 1 star down due to it being so cold- this is just personal preference and not clearing the table when brought new glasses over. Ladies that were serving were lovely.

Very hearty breakfast we had the vegetarian breakfast and the avocado on toast. Obliging waitress catered for bespoke coffee requests. Food was delicious and we also had a look around the car museum too! Happy husband!

Avoid eating here. Expensive and had to wait over an hour for our food which was way below standard. It’s gone completely downhill and no idea why. Won’t come here again. What a disappointment as have been coming here for a long time.

Heard about this place on television so put it on our list. So as we were coming home from Beamish today we thought we might call. Good decision. Great atmosphere, good food and plenty to see in the automobile shed. Well worth going.Please book or you might have to wait a while.

First visit and we really enjoyed the breakfast. The service was polite and attentive, but as others have written it was a longer wait than we’d have liked (about 40 minutes for food to arrive). Food was well cooked and tasty though and as we were on holiday, we didn’t mind the wait. I guess it may be busier at peak times though.

Amazing is the only words I can describe The Carding Shed. The ambiance is unique. Our waitresses, Katie was amazing, helpful and attentive. The food ‘CreamTea” was open topped sandwiches, with scones and an array of cakes, presented on eclectics china was the best I have ever had. What a brilliant place to have visited. To top it all, wandering round the collection of vintage vehicles after was a bonus. A must for anyone to visit.

a beautiful quirky location on the outskirts of holmfirth, which is to be combined with a visit in this beautiful village. this place is very busy and a booking is recommended, many people have been turned away because they did not. the foods are simple but very tasty with locally produced products. both the sunday meal and the afternoon tea were excellent. the staff is friendly, friendly and friendly, without being intrusive. recommended for a visit.

Went for lunch on arrival got seated to be informed that they where out of breakfasts looked at the menu one of us is a vegetarian only to find the only thing on the menu was a vegetarian breakfast ask the waitress if they had any other vegetarian options this was answered by we might be able to do something so I did not want to eat alone while my partner watched so coffee for me and a very expensive can of coke partner went to the toilet and paid I sat and finished my drink only to hear the staff complaining about me being sat at said table so got up and left

brilliant caffe for the classic car-fz enthusiasts. very large area with table-loads and a huge visual firm of classic automobile memorabilia everywhere. eating was great (it is a caffe remind, not a restaurant, so do not expect a large culinary menu or experience) the only way was the service. the personal itself was fantastic, very helpful and friendly, but from an unknown background the service was very slow. for ever to take, and that was on the low volume day. even getting the service for drinks, took an old. still highly recommended, only factor in a decent wait.
