"Most recently, I celebrated my 40th birthday in the new Victoria Room. On a hot summer day, it was airy and spacious, with the added benefit of having our own garden. Guests enjoyed plenty of Pimm's and indulged in a beautifully prepared buffet. Helen and the team are assets to the pub; any concerns I had were effortlessly addressed thanks to their experience in handling events and their attentive presence throughout the evening. hadn't been here for ever and suggested it as a venue to meet some friends. it has not disappointed that the meals were delicious and generous portions. our waiter, a young man whose name I forgot to ask, was very good in the fact. will surely go back. our waiter was kieran very good at his work. The staff was friendly and helpful, even though it was quite busy. The drinks were also top-notch. While the prices for food and drinks are slightly higher, the exceptional staff, inviting atmosphere, and outstanding food quality ensure that we keep coming back. It’s worth the cost.
