"I was concerned that I had an email in the morning to say my booking had been cancelled. After many attempts I was able to speak to someone about it only to be told it had not been cancelled but I had booked twice. Thinking about this I may have emailed with the request for a booking as well as booking on open table. I assumed it would have been realised that I only required one table In the process of trying to sort the matter out I kept on being told to go to open table and follow the links. Doing this was themost unhelpful and frustrating thing and no help whatsoever. The problem is a computer can’t think and the programme needs sorting out GillPratt"

Absolutely brilliant would recommend this pub to anyone. Our roast dinners were the best we have had out ever. Could not fault it at all. Top notch. Will be back definitely

drinks served quickly what was good, eating took 50 minutes, pizzas were very good. did not know about the service fee until I did not mention any mention on the website of the booking. but very good overall.

Really lovely setting, great service with very knowledgeable staff. Sadly the food was not up to standard, was very salty. We fed this back to our server who did then come back and agree after tasting it. Disappointingly no discount of a very expensive food bill

Unfortunately, our meal was a total catastrophe. a long wait for eating then informed that 2 of our main dishes were not available after we had served. the food came to various times. bits are missing and some do not arrive at all. we complained and got a refund for eating, but my men were ruined on birthday.

nice eating, but we had to wait for an hour, and when the food arrived, there was no article. no sense, from the service personnel we had waited that long and obviously no excuse. it rained heavily outside, and a leak from behind the sitting was flooded our sitting area. but despite all that personal was pleasant and helpful, eating was good and the beer was excellent.
