"On Friday night, the restaurant was overbooked and very noisy at 8:00pm. It did not feel like a good place to dine or have drinks at the time. We asked to be moved from a loud group and were offered a table in the upstairs room. Unfortunately, the atmosphere there felt like an old people's home, with bright overhead lighting and a strange mix of customers. The food, which should have been the highlight of the evening, was overly salty and almost impossible to eat. We expressed our dissatisfaction when paying the bill, but received no apology or any gesture of goodwill. Overall, it was a disappointing experience and the restaurant needs to improve before it becomes another crime drama setting."

Lovely food, well cooked and presented nicely. We booked to eat on grill night without realising but everything on the menu sounded great and was really well priced, two meals and a bottle of wine for £30. Highly recommended.

Luckily we booked a table because we were pretty busy on Thursday night, but that didn't distract from the efficient service. Staff friendly and attentive. We have booked on barbecue evening where you get 2 main dishes and a bottle of wine for £30. We added a fantastic mushroom starter in a rich cream sauce. The most important steaks were perfectly cooked and generous portion sizes of chips and circumcisions. Beautiful atmosphere with a tuxedo. Dog-friendly.

We were fortunate enough to secure a reservation for our visit on a busy Thursday evening. Despite the crowd, the service was efficient and the staff were friendly and attentive. We happened to come on grill night, where you can enjoy 2 main meals and a bottle of wine for £30. We also indulged in a delicious starter of mushrooms in a rich cream sauce. The steaks for our mains were perfectly cooked and came with generous portions of chips and trimmings. The atmosphere was pleasant with a diverse mix of ages, and they are also dog-friendly.

Friday night, overbooked and very loud at 8.00 no food or a drink pub at the time. From a very loud group to be moved, we were offered a table in the upper floor space, this had all the atmosphere of home bright headlights and a selection of failures hidden from the real world. The food should have saved the evening, but it was so salty that it was practically unusable. Our feelings known as we paid the bill no excuse or offer on the bill. I'm sorry that not a good experience the bridge needs to sort out or it can just become another Scandinavia drama
