Good food, very friendly Staff. We were still able to have a meal even though we arrived late (motorhome stopover)

1 visit here so far . . . . Definitely more to follow. Busy and friendly village pub. Good selection of beers and served well. Great staff and locals. Good offer of freshly made food.

I called in today for Sunday lunch and all the food was clearly homemade. The staff were really friendly, and since I'm moving back to the area after 26 years, I will definitely be visiting again. Thank you. Voir le carte

what an excellent night in the brass windmill. The Curry Night was fantastic. the chefs of the bombay brassiere were the top notch and the way my wife was included with their off menu options was very appreciated. a very big thanks to all staff tonight. I know we're back.

Really, really good. It's just a small place with a pretty cheap menu, but the food was absolutely delicious. I had the gammon, and it was perfect. The staff were friendly and accommodating, the service was good, and the locals were friendly. There's also a games room with a darts board and a pool table. Voir le carte

Attended for a meal as part of a large group. Food is good value, large portions that are well priced. The double steak and cheese bacon burger is a monster, although I wasn't over keen on the brioche bun, it was quite tough and stodgy. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Men's toilets were in need of refurbishment, they have a curtain up at the main door instead of a door and have blocked the windows with fabric. But they were clean. Id definetly call in again if I was passing.

For my husbands 40th because of COVID 19 we couldn’t have the party we wanted so I decided to have a family surprise get together in the brass windmill, they all went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect! This was also done with the guidelines for COVID 19, The food was absolutely amazing it was so good we went back for food on the Saturday! I had the steak on Saturday and it was the best I think I have had for years! The family who had travelled 5 hours have asked me to rebook as they want to come to the friendly pub to have good food. Also the staff and the owners where so friendly and welcoming!

We had read all the good reviews, so had high hopes. We phoned ahead to ask if they did takeaway, which they said they did. Decided to go over and order and play pool while we waited what a mistake! The owner was eating her dinner in the middle of the pool table area and was clearly very irritated to be disturbed. The man went off to cook our food, but had to keep asking her how to do things. Each question was greeted with a heavy sigh and the cutlery slammed down, until she eventually said I may as well just eat my dinner when it 's gone cold . We were made to feel a nuisance and very unwelcome why didn 't they just say Sorry, not tonight when we phoned to ask if they did takeaway? The food... Voir le carte
