Ordered food and drinks, recoeved a flavourless, watered down **** mary, and nonfood for an hour, until asked where it was and it was reveled they had not made it. Waited another 20 mnutes to recieve said food and the roasted veg was tastless and the smoked salmon was or a tiny quantity. The food and service at this lovely establishment are outstanding. The staff were polite and helpful, seating us promptly even though we didn't have a reservation. The decor is stunning, with each section offering a slightly different ambiance as you move from the bar to the dining areas. The food was beautifully presented and cooked to perfection. 100% recommended. The Blue Boar is a lovely pub steeped in character, we will definitely be back soon! One mark down on the food as the sponge pudding was slightly dry, but otherwise the meal was fantastic. Vegetarian options: Plenty of choice and you are asked about any dietary requirements before ordering. Staff were very knowledgeable and efficient.
