"We went for my birthday on Thursday mid afternoon. I was pretty disappointed unfortunately and the main reason was the food. I was looking forward to the Camembert sharing starter but that was off the menu so we had the charcuterie sharer which was more cracker bread than mean sadly. One of my daughters had the soft shell crab burger and before ordering, we asked if it was just the crab meat in a burger/patty form and we were told it was. When it came, it had its legs on and put my daughter off it. Me and my other daughter and I had a burger but it must have been sat in the pass for a while as both our buns were hard and dry and the burger was also over cooked. On a positive note, my wife enjoyed her scallop starter and her pork cutlet main. I did want to mention this at the time of eating but I didn’t want to spoil the day."

We love the Black Swan but thought the prices high. But maybe we should eat out more. The service was excellent.

Been coming here for years, but unfortunately the it’s not as good as in previous visits . Staff are friendly and attentive. The food was ok but not outstanding !

Lovely location with outside tables. Food was great. Plenty of parking. Friendly staff. Overall very good. Speed of food arriving was quite slow but sunny day so didn’t bother us.

A pleasant lunch, which was very good value because the mains were half price, part of the January deal for signing up to their newsletter. Usual prices are rather high. The food was good quality.

Disappointed..... didn't meet expectations... Limited menu..... burger was small, didn't fit the bun and for the price it wasn't value for money... Pre salted chips were over salted... felt we payed over the top for what we had .... probably won't be going back...
