"This used to be a great place to eat but sadly the food quality and cleanliness has gone downhill. The staff are great but we won’t be visiting again. The vegetarian special was awful and tasted and looked like it had been sitting around for ages and cooked so badly the pumpkin was totally decimated. I was expecting a bright and vibrant dish and not a pile of grey and black sludge. The table was very sticky to touch and the toilets also need a good clean. We’ve found that this has been the norm for a while so not just a one off I’m afraid."

Having visited this restaurant multiple times and always having a fantastic experience, we chose to have Sunday lunch here. The food was exceptional and the staff were attentive and helpful.

Group of four, two had the Christmas menu, the turkey meal was bland and tasteless and the sea bass meal and fish cake starter were so small the main would gave been small even as a starter. Not impressed or keen to return. Voir le carte

I adore this restaurant. I recently went there to celebrate my partner's birthday. The service was outstanding, the food was incredible, and they even surprised us with a delicious birthday ice cream. We will definitely be returning.

This used to be my favourite pub to go to in Woburn and visited regularly . I am afraid the standard of catering has dropped considerably and although it is still busy , it is way off what it used to be . I hope it gets back to former glories ..

Two families of five people eating Sunday lunch. Service was great, food was lovely and atmosphere was buzzing. Just booked for another Sunday with my own family. I think this is possibly my favourite pub in the area (and of course Woburn in winter is gorgeous! Voir le carte

I continue to come back here, because it continually delivers. 7 of us ate here Sunday evening, with children included. The roast beef was delicious with a generous serving. Drinks arrived within 5-10 minutes of ordering. Desserts were delicious. Staff were friendly. There’s always a great atmosphere. I just cannot fault it. Keep up the good work!

I had made a reservation for a dog-friendly table for lunch on Boxing Day at 12:30. I called the restaurant to inform them that we were running a few minutes late, and they were very understanding. When we arrived at the bustling pub, our table was ready and the manager was very helpful. Even though it was busy, the food came out quickly and was absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend this place.
