"Excellent food, really nice selection of interesting starters the pani puri are simply beautiful. We were a large group, so had to share a mixed set of appetizers, then chose all their own nets and we had to share some vegetable dishes and rice. He worked well and was very good."

"Superb food, great location, what a show Japanese food and Teppanyaki has always been a treat for me, when my daughter reported that her fellow students had discovered this restaurant in a lovely part of Manchester, I was hooked! I was not disappointed. The restaurant it in Castleford, the heart of old industrial Manchester, and a wonderful place to look around and work up an appetite! The restaurant is well laid out and staff welcoming, booking ahead is recomended. The food is stunning and the show by the chefs entertaining. We had sushi, sashimi and Teppanyaki sets as well. All uniformly excellent. Highly recommended"

"I have been meaning to post this review for weeks but kept forgetting and remembered because I've booked to go to the restaurant tonight! We ordered a takeaway from Linguine a few weeks ago and we eat kind of later in the evening. It was through Deliveroo. The restaurant called me and said that they were closing because they were quiet and had called off the drivers. So instead of just cancelling our order, they cooked it still and delivered it to us personally on their way home!! Now that is looking after your local customers! So I will absolutely support them buy being a loyal customer too. The food was fresh, deliciously tasty and hot. Above and beyond for sure. Thank you Linguine and see you tonight at 8pm for 2! "I have been to their location several times in Liverpool and it is one of my favorite rodizios anywhere. For those not familiar with rodizios, they bring as much meat as you would like to the table on skewers from the kitchen. Why Fazenda stands out is the meat is medium rare to rare (you can also order more well done), and I hate overcooked beef. I love their garlic steak, the fillet here and lamb. They also have a great salad bar, including sushi, a nice selection of cheeses and charcuterie, and a nice sesame seasoned quail egg. So why only four stars. First, it was very warm inside, uncomfortably warm. Not sure if it was intentional so people would not stay too long but it definitely detracted from the meal. Second, while the meat selection is good, it was very inconsistent. I was swamped when I started, probably five servers in three minutes. I tried to be careful and not over-indulge (too quickly) but then had to wait about 20 minutes for more food. I noticed this happened at a few table, again not sure if it is intentional or not. I also never was offered the fillet again. Food is good but the service and temperature need a little work for them to regain the fifth star I awarded Liverpool."

"I've been to a couple of different Dishoom branches a few times and have never been disappointed by the breakfast options. The sausage naan roll is excellent. A couple of really tasty vegan sausages with some melted vegan cheese all wrapped up in a lovely soft naan and served with some sort of sweet chilli dipping sauce. My go to now is usually the vegan Bombay. It's a good hearty breakfast plate with... a couple of the same well seasoned vegan sausages. Some vegan tofu akuri a nicely spiced tofu scramble. Some very well cooked mushroom slices (that are maybe a wee bit under seasoned). The baked beans are really nicely spiced, elevating them far beyond the standard sweet sauce fare that's the usual. A few slices of well flavoured black pudding (that could be fried to being a bit crispier). A cooked tomato which is a bit dull, I've never been keen on tomatoes on my breakfast plate and this once has not changed my mind. It could do with some more charring and maybe some spicing. To help you mop everything up, the whole thing is served with a couple of soft bread buns that have been nicely toasted. I usually top the whole thing off with some chocolate chai with oat milk you get free refills for your chai. Unfortunately, it isn't wheelchair accessible. There are stairs up into the restaurant and various small flights of stairs to get to different parts of the restaurant. Updated from previous review on 2024 03 25"
