great location for a cyclist coffee. good food too. do not go to peak times when they are missed to remain silent.

Stopped on our 8km walk for a hot chocolate with friends. The ladies were supper lovely and the food looked amazing. A must visit if you are in the beeches.

The two coffees were not good, the brownie was dry, and the three rolls took longer than the promised 30 minutes to arrive. The seats were dirty and the water bowls for dogs were dry. Voir le carte

Very slow service with only two staff, neither of whom seemed to have a clue what they were doing. It was over an hour since since the rain had stopped but no one had wiped down the wet table and chairs. Gave up waiting to...be served after 10 minutes and we were second in the queue!

We ordered two coffees, which took 25 minutes to arrive with no prior warning about the slow service. Tea was served promptly to other customers who arrived after us. When we questioned why we weren't informed about the delay, the staff mentioned that there was no waiting queue at the time of our order. This lack of logic left us puzzled.

A well-placed outdoor cafe beside toilets and a car park, leading to many forest walks. Homemade lunch snacks like quiche, houmous, macaroni cheese, and soup. Wide choice of hot drinks and mouthwatering range of home-made cakes. Dogs allowed inside outer fence, and plenty of seating....A great place to relax, but not much shelter if it rains. There is nothing to moan about! This is a cafe in the middle of nowhere providing a welcome service to walkers in muddy boots, families with children having fun plus dogs. It's a fun spot and the service, drinks snd cakes were ideal for our...group of 6 varying from 2 to 69. I've gone for four stars because it's the appropriate score for an outside cafe operating in those circumstances. Always worth stopping here for refreshments.

We stopped in for a sandwich after a stroll around the beeches. This is the only cafe on the beeches but it is very reasonably priced. There staff were friendly and efficient. We ordered a couple of egg mayo sandwiches, they were very good and...came with both salad and crisps which was a welcome surprise. The food and the dining experience was far better than at the restaurant we had been to the night before. This is a great cafe and would recommend you visit.

I ordered the bockwurst hot dog with crispy swashing in a baguette for £4.79 from the menu, expecting a real German sausage with fried crispy swash. However, what I received was a cheap French sausage with crispy wobbles in a stale baguette. To make matters worse, my son found mold on his baguette. It seems that this place is more of a cafe than a restaurant, but I still expected better considering the misleading menu description. There was no apology for the stale bread either. Voir le carte
