The Beech House - Menu

I didn't have any food, met a few friends in there for drinks very expensive £7.50 for a 125ml glass of wine.

Always a great experience at The Beech House. The food is brilliant, with great cocktails and a chilled out vibe

Really nice food service can be a bit hit and miss but if you get a good team it's a great place to be. Sausage and mash is a winner.

On arrival we didn't get much help with anything. Food order was taken well but no1 came round to see if everything was OK..Once finished very slow in tidying up. And it wasn't busy. Luckily we had a voucher that we used

Don’t be put off by the entrance area at the front which has a wine bar feel, the restaurant further back in the venue is lovely, cosy and quieter with a lovely atmosphere. We ordered three small plates and a pizza to share with a great bottle of Malbec. The pizza was gorgeous, as were the artichokes, baked feta and patatas bravas. A lovely evening! Great service too!

I'm afraid service wasn't that good. Waitress didn't offer sauces with food kept waking away ordered Gammon egg chips asked that gammon wasn't undercooked I got no eggs cos when I said,eggs didn't want over cooked didn't want overcooked just ended up with none at all attention to detail is what is required would've been much better if waiter had queried whether i.wanted eggs rather than serving with none at all if he didn't understand what I met

Very nice but they don't know how to serve a pint of beer without a humongous head on it. Even when asked to be topped off it wasn't a full pint. If they want to serve a pint with such a head then use lined glasses! So the above comment was from a previous visit and sadly nothing has changed, the glass is swirled as the beer pours to create a good head and I had to ask for it to be topped up, which the bar-staff did grudgingly, looking surprised he'd been asked. Let's be blunt here, I asked for a pint, paid for a pint, so if I ask for it to be topped off, then all I'm getting is what I've paid for.

Visited on a Sunday and ordered artisan breads with olive oil/Balsamic vinegar . A friend ordered Garlic flatbread. The artisan breads were the flatbreads no selection whatsoever. We then ordered the roast Thyme chicken advertised on the menu with stuffing and Yorkshire pudding. Arrived without either but the chicken was fabulous so we didn’t comment. Drinks overfilled with ice. On the plus side really good service and a pleasant atmosphere. Just seems very inconsistent and if something isn’t available then tell the customer so they can choose an alternative taking the price into account the meal should be pretty perfect.

We had an amazing experience at this restaurant, the food was amazing and delicious and the chefs were so friendly and kind, I loved that the kitchen was open and we could watch the food being prepared, the chefs were so kind to entertain my young sister while she was watching them make the food. The only thing I am really disappointed at was the service, it was horrible and I can even say that it was nonexistent. We waited a long time to order and when we did the server did not bring our food and the chef had to go out and bring it himself, lovely person. Then when we wanted to order the desserts we had to go up to the server because she did not glance at our direction at all and talk to he...
