"The pub has a pleasant atmosphere and polite staff, but my experience took a downturn when I complained about the terrible dried peas that had a strange white residue on them. Fortunately, the peas were served in a separate bowl from the fish and chips. However, when I brought this to the waitress's attention, she just stared blankly at me and didn’t respond, which was disappointing. A simple apology and a promise to inform the chef would have been enough to address the issue."

I found this on TripAdvisor and the reviews said the food was hot. The food was disappointingly only warm with the exception of the cauliflower cheese which was served separately. The temperature spoiled what was otherwise a nice tasting meal.
