The Artichoke Inn - Carte

Extremely disappointed. Having booked to discover on arrival they were CLOSED. I am unable to review the establishment when there was not food.

Fair play, couple of really decent Pizzas, although my American Hot was a bowel-basher and I urge caution! Fierce chilli's and a dynamite pepper sauce on it. Nice though

We had Ana amazing meal at the Artichoke yesterday. My wife had Pizza and I had gammon. The meals were brilliantly cooked and service was excellent. Great local beer on draught as well. What more could you want Voir le carte

We were late getting back to Christow (on holiday there) so we phoned ahead to book 4 takeaway meals. We picked up a full English breakfast, a huge pizza and 2 curries. We all enjoyed our chosen meals. Nice food, hot and good portion sizes.

we enjoyed a beautiful meal and some drinks in the artichoke gasthof. we just came when the kitchen went to finish, but we were still served. had a big jumbo fish and chips with muddy heaps, a few gin and tonics and some pints. the atmosphere was very nice, the staff was friendly and the bill was fair.

This restaurant is a hidden gem. The food is delicious. We made a reservation for a group of 6, including a baby. Most of us ordered burgers and they were huge. We also got two pizzas, which were the largest I've ever seen in a pub. The chicken wings were fantastic, with plenty of sauce and very moist. Thank you for a wonderful meal. Voir le carte

We ordered 2 pizzas which were advertised as homemade and cooked to order. Unfortunately, it was evident that they were store-bought pizzas topped with melted cheese and sparse, uncooked toppings. The tomato sauce base lacked flavor and tasted bland. Additionally, the restrooms were dirty and wet due to leaking rainwater, with mouldy and soaking wet toilet paper.

When I heard this pub was back open me and my family decided to view the menu I heard great things about and wow I'm so glad we did the food was absolutely divine. Each and every one of us loved it . The Staff were so welcoming and friendly. The pub was so cosy with a warm open fire it had a real christmasy feel about the place . We can't wait to return on Sunday for the roast .

My husband and I visited this restaurant for their steak night on Wednesday and were extremely pleased with our meals. I ordered the homemade chicken and ham pie from the early bird menu and it was incredibly tasty! My husband chose the rump steak and also found it to be excellent. The staff were welcoming and friendly, making our experience even better. We will definitely be returning in the future. Voir le carte
