"Always drive past and the cafe looks lovely so popped in. We ordered a full English breakfast each with coffee, the man behind the counter did not come across welcoming or friendly. They seemed to be short staffed, but the member of staff said it’s always like it. Our breakfasts arrived and were put down on the table without the waiter saying a word and briskly walked off, we had to go and ask for salt and ketchup. The menu stated homemade baked beans, which sounded great but when they arrived they were slightly spicy. I think it would state that on the menu. Dry toast with no butter, we like ‘farmshop’ sausages but we both thought these tasted almost powdery. Scrambled egg was tasteless. None of the staff came to check how our food was, we ate half of our food and left. We eat breakfast out a lot and were very disappointed."

Came in on shrove Tuesday myself and my wife had the pancakes and a normal breakfast which was very very good!! I Highly recommend!!

What a fabulous find The Angel is a wonderful cafe: it has been beautifully and imaginatively redecorated. The food and service were excellent. Added bonus managed to pick up some melts and room spray from the talented Ginger Wild (the car smelt of Christmas all the way home! not to mention some great bowl covers from Hunter Gatherer. Will definitely recommend and look forward to a return visit.

the angelcafé is a beautiful place to stop a coffee or lunch/death in this beautiful large village. well furnished with 2 tables front and a spacious interior with a small courtyard on the back. the device is a mix of old and new and tastefully mix the character of the old building with its current roll. coffee was one of the best I had, and the lemon tart had a wonderful homemade feeling about it. if I could give an evaluation of over 5 stars, I would give at least 6. the sanitiser in the entrance enthusiastic my wife and it was a great touch in this covid time. oh yes and it is dog friendly. What else could you ask?
