"We had our Christmas dinner here and was not disappointed. They suggested pre-order which we were happy to do. We knew it would be busy due to the time of year but our visit ran seamlessly. Our waitress, Jasmine, was fantastic, she ran through our order to check and food was served at a good pace, we didn’t feel rushed at all. Three of us had the scallops to start, which were amazing, one of us had Turkey which I was told was “very tasty” and two of us had the lamb, which was cooked perfectly, the selection of veg was great. Desserts were sticky toffee pudding; perfection and the cheeseboard was polished off. My daughter, who can be difficult to please went for the kids menu and loved everything, which speaks volumes."

What a treat, my first time visiting this lovely pub after moving just down the road and must I say what a lovely pub. The food was spectacular and the service and view was even better. Both waiters called Tom were attentive and caring and lively to talk to and Katie was even chattier and her Aussie accent had my family in stitches

I've visited The Albany at several locations and have never been disappointed. The staff is friendly, and the food is great, all accompanied by beautiful views of the Thames. I highly recommend dining here on a sunny day on the terrace or enjoying a cozy evening indoors. The photo features one of my favorites: the Asian-style crispy duck salad.

Service was generally good, it was slow but the it was busy. I had the roast chicken which was an average pub roast. The chicken was dry it needed a extra serving of gravy. Strange comment but the plates were small and rectangular which made it difficult to spread out the roast and eat properly. I did really enjoy my drink I got a non alcoholic cocktail with elderflower which was delicious and quenched my thirst. Overall amazing location but food could be improved.

The staff at this restaurant is exceptionally friendly and hardworking. Considering how busy the establishment was and the limited number of workers available, they did an incredible job. Yes, we had to wait a bit occasionally, but with so many tables to manage, they remained composed and never lost their friendly, polite demeanor. In fact, three different staff members checked in to ensure we were satisfied with our meals and offered to assist us further. The food was delicious, as always, and the place was clean. It's one of the few restaurants that my whole family looks forward to visiting!

I came here with my family and we had a pleasant time, largely thanks to the attentive service. However, the food was not the highlight of our visit, which was disappointing since it was the primary reason for coming. The dishes arrived cold or were missing key ingredients, and overall, they were quite bland. Although some guests expressed their dissatisfaction with the meals, the staff was quick to address the issues. While the service was excellent, the food left much to be desired.
