"I was visiting family in Bremerhaven Germany and fancied a nice curry. I was taken to a restaurant called Thaya. The food was delicious, I was impressed with the staff who were very friendly and accommodating, nothing was to much trouble them. We asked to be moved nearer the veranda as it was a very warm evening and we was moved without any fuss. The food really hit the spot and the portions were generous. I asked for a chicken madras, and was impressed when the waiter asked whether I wanted my curry European spicy or Indian spicy. I chose Indian spicy as I prefer to have a little bit of a kick when it comes to my curries and I was not disappointed. The restaurant was very clean, with a nice decor and ambience. The whole family enjoyed the meals they chose. I will definitely come back to the restaurant on my next visit to Bremerhaven Germany. Plus my family members who live there said they will definitely be going back and would highly recommend this restaurant to friends."

a really good Indian restaurant. the card is clear and the dishes are very tasty. The friendly service also accepts special requests and converts them with the kitchen. the dishes are very rich and if you have the right degree of sharpness, very tasty.I like to recommend thaya and we have been here several times.

eating at thaya is excellent. it is rich and in terms of price/performance ratio completely in order. the personal is very attentive. the ambiente unfortunately still looks a little stiff, there could be more flair pure. nice, small restaurant, which is not necessarily expected in the residential area. that is worth eating.

we were the first time here and that will certainly not have been the last time.Very nice cozy furnishings. sitting with kisses, you feel very comfortable. The eating was very fresh and superlcker. we still had Naan-Brot as an appetizer and brot there was also to the main dish. without brot tell me honestly, the portion for a grown man would have been a little bit. but tasteful, absolutely top!

you sit very comfortably on many tables, in summer also outside in a quiet side street. the feeds are well received, well spiced and, as desired, in devoid of sharpness. The papadams were somewhat simple and greasy, and rather not self-fabriated, but this is just a tiny drop of wormwood. There is another smaller one in the center, which is really the 1.Inder in the place, even as regards the seasoned, but in the thaya you sit just better, especially when you have guests. the service was accommodating and fast.

Have been a couple of times there. Find its getting expensive, example lamb curry 18. 99 euros. You wouldn't pay that price in London in some restaurants. This restaurant is in a small suburb of Bremerhaven. Also it's not proper nan bread, and not even homemade. As for the popadums also came out of a packet. Not home made, our ones that came with the meal were awful. Oil dripping of them, and to add insult to injury they forgot the salad. Which is part of the meal. My main gripe is, it's an Indian restaurant owned by Indians. So why cant they cook proper nan bread popadums

we were eating here with a larger group of about 15 people. the waitress was very attentive. all had fast cards and the drinks could be ordered. after we had chosen our food, there were for all papadam from the house with 3 different soßen. in the connection there was salat and Naan-Brot. when the main dish came we were already well saturated;) the main dish was very tasty, the portions are completely sufficient by the supplements. the food could be ordered in mild, medium or sharp. the facility is special and eating has a little bit sweet placed on the tellers. We had a nice evening with very tasty eating and good service. we are coming back

After we found this difficult to find restaurant, I was confused by ambiente. furniture as from an old German economy paired with silver and golden kisses as well as red walls with Indian motifs in gold. the service was polite and quick. the order was recorded with the ipad. eating, I had lamb vindaloo in the sharpest variety, was very tasty, but then too sharp. next time, I'll take a little. you are asked about the desired strength of sharpness! Also my mango leti was good. before eating we received two courses of appetizers. first fas probably traditional Indian thin crispe brot with three dips. I already knew that from other Indian restaurant. that was in order. as the second appetizer the...

"we would like to start with the positive impressions: at our second visit to the restaurant by us, we can maintain that the wine offer is still good for bremerhavener conditions and also fairly calculated. through the generously designed window front you have a great all-round view of bremerhaven's new design good stubborn. the local was about 1/10 occupied! the service is nice, but for the claim that this locality is itself, ultimately inadequate and too cool. the greeting from the kitchen, the cupboard with a garnel spear consisted of a spiced salat cucumber with a sharpness not to be defined. Unfortunately, on the spoon of the water of the gurken and the flesh of the flesh, and also haptically no good feeling on the back was separated. the brot was warm but not chess, was accompanied by a non-defined white cream with a noticeable lemon note whether desired or not here unfortunately no aha experience. on recommendation of the host we both chose the carrot orange soup with jacobsmuscles. when this was then served, here it was that it was refined with ingweroel (what if you don't like it! you would have had luck, it didn't taste after ingwer! otherwise the suppe was salt-sharf and overcrowded. the main courses: matjesfilet by housewife type is normally a delicious deft dish of uncomplicated art unfortunately not in pier 6. the matjesfilets were lukewarm, why ever. accompanied by a mayonsaiselasty sauce with sweet cut ingredients again salty. paparika powder is also not tolerated as a garnitur for this dish. I do not want to express myself here about the bratkartoffeln as a guide, but rather lay the coat of silence. the rice to the saltimbocca was boiled in a full-boiled...... it's now mocked enough. please dear operator, turn them immediately to the screws of their kitchen performance. the past is not worthy of their gastronomic vita."
