"TGI Fridays at the Manchester Royal Exchange Theatre is located just outside the Manchester Arndale, opposite Boots on Cross Street so is in an ideal location for hungry shoppers in the city centre, or those just out and about in Manchester. I've visited this TGI Fridays a couple of times now over the past couple of years, and I always seem to have issues, with this place not meeting the regular TGI Fridays standards at all, compared to nearby locations in Prestwich, Cheadle and The Trafford Centre, which are very good. The interior is dark, but they've tried to make it pretty cool with the large TGI Fridays writing on the wall, the motorbike at the front, and the number of booths. It's pretty large inside too, so there are plenty of tables, as it's the only TGI Fridays in the city centre with the Piccadilly Station one closing, this is useful. One thing which has remained consistent over the years and with other TGI Fridays is that a manager must take my order as I have an allergy, but this even included drinks it felt annoying to be separated from the rest of my party when I wanted anything. On my most recent visit, I had the New York Strip steak with a Long Island Iced Tea, I do think the steak is a little pricey for a non specialist chain, and for the quality. When it came, it was very tough, dry and fatty, even though I ordered it to be medium, so it wasn't a very good cut of steak at all. Both steak sauces also contain gluten, so I had to order BBQ sauce, which tasted great with the fries... but the steak not so much. The Long Island was good though, and the foam on the top was unlike most I've had before. They have regular offers on the cocktails too via their loyalty scheme, making it easy to get one for free or at a reduced price near and then. The mobile signal in the restaurant is also non existent, despite it being fine just outside, so I'm not sure why that is, there is WiFi though which works after you fill in the tedious form. The staff seemed nice enough and did apologise for being unable to assist with my order due to company policy. 2* The staff are friendly enough and the drinks are good, that's pretty much it, I wouldn't come back for food but I wouldn't rule out returning for drinks only."

Ordered the Jack Daniels chicken strips to start, and the chicken fajita for main. Cool atmosphere, very busy and service was pretty slow. But always polite. The food was good, didn't blow me away though. Cocktails are huge but weak. A solid choice but wouldn't rave about it.

We decided to pop into TGI Fridays for a bite to eat before heading over to Revolution. The Service The waitress tonight was extremely friendly, introduced her self well and was quite chatty, she was also very efficient. A good touch. Food Loved the food tonight, couldn't finish my plate sadly as was full but it was yummy anyway Price Reasonably priced, cant complain :

The food itself was average (3 stars) but the best part for me is the sesame wings coated in jack daniel sauce. So far I can't find any other places that do this sauce justice other than tgi. Definitely recommend this! The reason I gave it a 4 stars despite the average food was the service. The service is really good and seeing a little girl celebrating her birthday and being embrassed by the waiters singing is really cute!

Quickly seated, friendly. Drinks ordered and promptly received. Good atmosphere, random music, and always a birthday going on. Quite popular, very mixed ages , singles, couples and groups. Had ultimate ribs, presented well very and tasty . Also the cocktails are mixed and flavoured well. Service is ok, a few errors no cuterly, then no serviettes. Nothing major. But an over all enjoyable service. Will come back as the ribs are great.

Great experience today at T.G.Is in Manchester. We were seated straight away. I thought it might be busy due to all the sale that are on. The soft drinks are bottomless. We ordered our food only waiting about 20 mins before it was served. We didn't get rushed we was happily chatting away. We then ordered a deserts. We was in there over 2 hours in total. The staff were kind, friendly and very helpful. We never once had to ask for a refill.

I love TGI Fridays for lots of reasons but most of all I love the drinks. I'm not an alcoholic, they just make really good cocktails! The staff here will make anything you like and will also recommend things to you so you'll end up finding new things you like! The food here is good too but I find that the food at the Trafford Centre is better but the drinks service at Sale is more relaxing because the bar isn't as crowded and it's over 21's only (at the bar, kids are still welcome in the restaurant). It's a great location, just off the motorway but it does usually mean someone has to drive unless you want to pay for a taxi, bad times for the driver but the milkshakes and smoothies are good t...

I've definitely got more to say about TGI Fridays. I love it! The food has been covered, but I would add that the fajitas and burgers are literally to die for. The fajitas come on a sizzling tower plate thing which is aesthetically pleasing as well as satisfying for the taste buds. Although you can expect to spend over ten quid per main meal, the quality and size of the food more than makes up for it. The main thing about TGI Fridays though has got to be the drinks. This applies whether you are an alcoholic or not! The cocktails are unbelievable, as all the staff ate trained in how to make them perfectly. The Daquiris I particularly recommend. I know it's a boring cocktail usually and I like...

I 'm not a lover of chain restaurants when there 's so many independent retailers in our city, why bother? However, I was feeling super blue yesterday and my friend and I needed somewhere we could definitely get a table without a wait. TGI 's was rammed. It turns out that this is where people go when they 're in the city and pre pre drinking for their Saturday night out. We were seated easily enough, but there wouldn 't have been any space for us to be at the bar. The menu is actually smaller than I expected, which gives me a bit more faith about how everything is cooked (but not much more. I went for the 'cajun chicken ciabatta, ' which consisted of blackened chicken, tomato and lettuce in...

Ah, what to say of TGI 's. It 's one of those leave your gourmet brain at the door places this is simple, yum American junk food. I 'll admit that I 'm easily pleased, especially when I 'm hungry, and a plate of refried beans atop a bed of nachos covered in salsa, guacamole and cheese is enough to have me rubbing my tum, not to mention mozzarella sticks and the actual main course. Yeah, we forget about that when we 're ordering the so called 'appetisers '. This place is so indulgent they even batter their chicken in Jack Daniels. Heck, they slather everything in the stuff. Salmon, ribs... it 's a wonder we don 't all stumble out vomiting. Wait... Ahem, anyway, rather like Hard Rock and Henry...

"I have seen some terrible reviews of la casita online, but if a person who writes online restaurant reviews teaches them everything if others are not completely legit. So I ignored them and went anyway and I am glad that I did it because it was a really delicious, good price menu with great friendly service. rich and I shared the choriqueso and the Guacamole shell to start. the choriqueso, as they may guess, is a tonne chorizo with a tonne melted cheese. Of course, that was **** delicious. the guacamole was also good, I am not sure what was achieved by being in a tortilla bowl, but it has definitiw nothing distracted. for the net I had tacos el pastor and rich had fajitas with huh and chorizo. the tacos were not strange hard dishes here and the filling very tasty. if I had any complaints here, it would be that the meat had a light "chalky " aftertaste, so possibly I would try to visit another taco filling on another. the hot sauce that comes with the tacos is pretty **** hot, they believe when they say that. rich 's only complaining was that the fajitas came with a large amount of filling and only two small tortillas. for drinking I had a bottle sol and a very good, very strong margarita. rich had a pint store and one around and koks. for two appetizers, two main and four drinks we paid about 50 pounds, which I thought was pretty good. I will be back in any case! I just hope that it will keep around the companies, as it seems to come and go in this place (so they will support them! ."
