"We had booked a table for two but they seemed surprised to see us. Eventually got seated, watched the table next to us have their starters and another table finish dessert and pay and leave … while we waited for them to take our order. ONE HOUR AFTER ARRIVING they finally took our order. Too late by then for starters we opted for a main meal and drinks. It arrived reasonably quickly but was uninspiring. Yes they gave us a free mocktail we were both driving) but other than that it was very disappointing. And to add insult to injury, when we left, the group of waiting staff gathered near the exit couldn’t even be bothered to acknowledge us, affirming to us the staff ARE miserable and can’t be bothered with a paying customer. We will not visit again!"

Excellent food and service! We booked for a special family meal as my parents were visiting from abroad and everything was wonderful from start to finish! Absolutely delicious food and fantastic service despite the large group! Special dietary needs were met and we all left with full tummy’s and smiles on our faces! Highly recommend and looking forward to our next visit!

We ate here twice in 4 days over the Easter break. The food and wine were superb both times. I think we had three courses each time. The desserts were in a see-through display cabinet and impossible to resist! The waiting staff were all female, very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Even though we arrived early to eat, the restaurant was already quite full, and was packed by the time we left. We paid £85 for the first meal and £110 for the second – with tips. Well recommended, but booking is absolutely required.
