"Let me say it in advance: this review is mainly for tourists. I'm pretty sure locals know enough about Ristorante Teatro from its long celebrated history as one of the most classy and refined culinary tradition in Varese. Ristorante Teatro is the right place if you are looking for an elegant, yet tastefully informal place where to get dinner in the historical downtown of Varese. I visit Italy once a year and each time, if I have a chance, I stop there for dinner with family. My favorite is the spaghetti all'astice, one of the dishes Ristorante Teatro is famous for. Last time I've been there I also enjoyed il polpo ..but I can't recall the name of the recipe it was served with.. . Let the owner suggest you about the wine: I had one of the best Cabernet Sauvignon I've ever had a chance to taste in my entire life. Let me say it was served a bit too cold but that didn't affect the experience at all. During the summer the outside patio is the best way to enjoy the location as far as it's not raining ...as it happened to us.. . The quality of food, wine and service are worth every single penny, if not more, you pay for. You won't regret your experience there."

Ristorante piccolo ma accogliente e si mangia benenissimo . Non avevamo prenotato ma ci hanno fatto un posticino per due, con un ambiente familiare e ricco di sostanze con ingredienti genuini e fresche con piatti abbondanti. Una vasta scelta di dolci per i golosoni. Toilette pulita .

Che piacevole scoperta!!!! Oggi a Varese per lavoro pranzo in questo magnifico ristorante storico nel pieno centro città, gestito da un proprietario veramente cortese e con un servizio impeccabile!!! Per quanto riguarda il pranzo penso che le foto possano parlare da sole!!!!! Personalmente ho mangiato una crudità di pesce a dir poco favolosa e a seguire una spigola al sale eccezionale!!! Ottima anche la cantina dei vini!! Nel menù sono presenti anche pietanze a base di carne!! Consigliato a chiunque si trovi a Varese!!!!
