"We were visiting for a special occasion, and because we have visited before and had a pleasurable experience. However, this time that was not so much the case. The carpark was fairly empty so we though, great, should get good service today because there are not too many customers in. Unfortunately this turned out not to be the case. Started with an error in the drinks order with one being brought out at the wrong size. Food order was placed, with a couple of special requests customisations. Most of these were ok but one was completely missed so had to go back to the kitchen. We were also still waiting for the side orders at this point. Staff member performed a check back, told them everything was good but we were still waiting for the side orders. By the time they finally arrived, the rest of the food was almost finished so they felt a little irrelevant at this point. Team member Kacey who brought them out was very friendly and apologetic reassured her it wasn't her fault, but she offered to apply a discount to our bill, which was appreciated. We had also brought in a celebratory cake, and the young male member of the team who brought this out was nothing but smiling, helpful and a credit to the company. Unfortunately was unable to get his name."

Darcie was extremely courteous. Parking was ample and convenient. The facility is wheelchair accessible, including a disabled toilet. The price per person ranges from £10 to £20. Overall, I rated the food and service as 5 out of 5.

I love this place, great food , great drinks , my family loved to play the pool games and my siblings loved the machines. She was delighted to win a teddy bear. Loved all the food was 10/10. The staff were lovely and always on board. Will definitely come again soon

Excellent value for money! I had the mixed grill from the 2-for-1 menu, which included steak, lamb, pork chop, and gammon, all perfectly cooked. I requested my steak to be rare, and it was just right. This is a lovely spot to grab a bite and enjoy a few drinks if you're in the Farwood area!

Disappointed with my experience. The pub looks lovely outside and inside, however, the meal took a long time to arrive and most parts of the food were overcooked. There were feral kids being allowed to run around the whole pub screaming, they barely stopped when I requested they were stopped. We visited with a toddler and was given a table tucked away with space for her to waddle about in. Service was friendly and very efficient. Food was good, quickly served. Pub seemed warm, well lit and clean. I would have no hesitation in using this outlet again and would recommend it to friends and family. Hopefully we didn't disrupt to many drinkers. We have just moved to the area and the Tawny Owl is in walking distance to us- we will definitely be using again.
