"We went to celebrate a birthday at lunch. I was pleasantly surprised by the à la carte menu. Finally something new. All right but in the first meat there was a little reduction (especially in the one with cantian bitters). The vaccination queue is really higher! A better dessert than the other. Improved contours. "Tradizionale negozio in pieno centro ad Urbino che propone oltre le piadine la crescia locale che essendo sfogliata è più leggera delle tradizionali piade romagnole. Il locale, molto semplice, è piccolo con qualche sedia e appoggio per consumare i prodotti che sono decisamente buoni. Possibili varie farciture con ingredienti freschi e di qualità. I due titolari sono molto disponibili per accontentare le richieste e le crescie si possono anche consumare su dei tavoli di fronte al negozio, ma sono lungo la strada che è in discesa. Una tappa da consigliare se volete provare questa specialità marchigiana."

"We were greeted by the chef and his two staff standing in the middle of the road smiling with open arms as we three walked up the hill towards them. We were the first of their many guests. It was the start of a wonderful evening. The food was impeccable and inventive and a cut above the usual, the wait staff were kind and knowledgeable (especially about the wines). Just outstanding. Can't wait to return."

"I write this review because unfortunately I could not dialogue with the owner since he does not answer the phone. I did my graduation lunch in this restaurant and the experience was bad. Starting from the menu, pattuito with the owner, with an appetizer, two first (and not tastes of first), cut, contour with salad and cake (produced from an outside pastry shop to the restaurant) from the price of 30€ per person: already to the cutters for the appetizer you noticed a certain food shortage on the table, then to pass to the two first, with yes and no 50g of pasta to each arrived with a center, not There wasn't even a resumption of the same, something at the limits of shame. Passing then for the cut, with also very little quantity. The most total embarrassment was touched on the cake (Millefoglie, with cream cream cream and cream decoration) where the cream had no taste and the frill had a taste of burnt and very bad. The slow, confusing and even rude service, when at the coffee request the waitress communicated to my relative that there was no service at the table, to his answer my relative said that there were no problems and that she would bring it with a saucer at the table and began to make her stories. At the time of the account there was also a disguido with the price, where they also wanted us to pay 40-50€ for the cake when the price set for the whole menu was 30€ per person. Also, at the time of the exit from the restaurant (we were the last remaining) nobody saw, there was not even a greeting from any staff member. Besides being a student, I've been working in the catering industry for a long time, and I've never seen such a thing here in town or elsewhere. Needless to say I strongly discourage the consumption in this restaurant. Shameful. "Nel fantastico mondo della trattoria del leone i ravioli all'ortica contengono ricotta e spinaci, vengono scolati e buttati sul piatto a lasciarli incollare se non per quelli in fondo che galleggiano nell'acqua di cottura per via della poca cura anche nel semplice gesto di scolare la pasta ed infine ci viene semplicemente buttato sopra del formaggio grattato freddo di frigo . Continuando nella degustazione delle magie del leone si ci imbatte in un coniglio porchettato ripieno con tutte le ossa e quindi impossibile da mangiare come un arrosto si può solo fare a pezzi e mangiarlo sbriciolato.nel ripieno della ricetta tipica di Urbino pare ci sia anche la pancetta a cubetti che si trova in supermercato nel frigo, anche se non riesco a capire come potessero già averla 100anni fa. Accompagna questo capolavoro di incompetenza culinaria un pezzo di coniglio con osso, che non so cosa abbia di pertinente con il coniglio porchettato ma oh, magari in 20 anni di carriera in cucina ho sempre sbagliato io. La verdura , di quella in cubetti congelata subisce purtroppo anche essa la magia dello chef, che con quello che non può che definirsi sadismo a questo punto non si degna nemmeno di farla girare un minimo in padella dopo averla scongelata al microonde. Il rammarico è stato non aver preso altro,quindi purtroppo la magia è durata fin troppo poco.poi ci si chiede come mai in Italia la gente cominci a preferire fast food ai rist"
