"We arrived in good time for our reservation having traveled up from London. Our table had a window view of the canal and tow path. Our waiter was friendly and was able to give us information on our choice of dishes. Our starters were quite good although the prawns were smothered in too much sauce which made for rather messy eating. Our main dishes were traditional British fare and included the Fish and Chips with mushy peas which were good and served in good time. The evening went well as the restaurant section of the pub filled up and this lead to a nice ambiance. The bill for four was quite reasonable considering we enjoyed two bottles of their New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc. We would certainly go back when we are in Birmingham again."

I went to the mailbox looking for some where to eat with mum, but as the weather was nice, gas street social was full of drinkers and pretty noisy.

Found this nice little Pub on the canal. The food was good, the service was quick, and the Beer was awesome! I would definitely recommend this place.

Booked for pre-theatre meal. Very welcoming, fabulous food and service. We much enjoyed the view of the canal whilst we ate. Would recommend for all occasions. We will definitely return.

we ate in this restaurant over uen table for a New Year's Pre-Club menu made aware of its existence. what a jewel of a money. great service, excellent beer, so my man told me and eat good value for money. steak and swirl rings can definitely be recommended as the frits. would go back and recommend to friends for a casual night out.
