I tried a retreat a couple of years ago and was underwhelmed, so it took me so long to go back, but I'm glad I did it. sat on Thursday night and used the £7.95 sun thu offer, the poppadoms, every starter and any curry rice or naan included. everything was from a high standard and it was a good offer for a sitting meal. the curry (for the dhansak) was authentic. tasty and had been made clear from scratch, which is rare in Indian restaurants nowadays. naan was also made fresh and especially good. cobra on tap; what more could you want? I would give tandoori mahal 5 stars!"

Very friendly and must be doing something right after being here for 40+ years. I'd had five pints so can't claim to be accurate here but four of us enjoyed our curries, reasonable price, we'd go again.

Came here last night for a meal with my dad, his first meal out in 2 years and they made it very comfortable and welcoming. All staff were very friendly, and the food was incredible. Great price and amazing portions. Thank you.

After a 290 mile bike trip exhausted and very hungry we had good quick service.,good food definitely go again when we next catch the ferry to Belfast. Waitress was spot on made us feel welcome and very friendly which we like. Thank you

fab. this is the best Indian restaurant I've ever been, and I was too many. the standard of food is exceptional,second to none. the staff are so kind that I have got a lift house if I was not able to get a taxi) that is service for them! if they have not tried this restaurant

very nice. on Saturday with 4 others. the whole food was well prepared, well presented and delicious. the service was also very fired and efficient and for £80 for the go (most had 3 courses) it was a real bargain. if they have not been and they like a good curry, they should check it.
