"Wow where do I start with this country pub. We came here a couple of weeks ago for a group meal, the food was fantastic, the pub was clean and the atmosphere was perfect, however one thing that stood out to all of us were the staff. The loveliest girl and owners behind the bar and doing the waiting, so helpful, cracking sense of humour and just went that extra mile to make our already fantastic evening that extra bit special, they really looked like they loved their work which was so lovely to see and says so much about this pub. We will all definitely be returning in the future. P.S highly recommend the pork cutlet! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"

great pub! second visit and consistently excellent meals. there is a very varied menu along with a special board. very cheap and all our meals were delicious. the pub is very cozy and friendly, beautiful roaring fire and beautiful atmosphere. we cannot wait to return :

First visit here tonight as our local The Jolly Sailor is unfortunately still fire damaged ! Friendly atmosphere.. Very clean and tidy .. Excellent fish choices on the specials board and steak was ‘proper’ meat ! Thoroughly enjoyed our evening and will definitely be going back with the family …

This was our second visit to this lovely venue, tucked away from the hustle and bustle. This charming traditional pub serves absolutely fantastic food of the highest quality. The staff are incredibly friendly, and there's an added delight in the form of Betty, the owner’s basset hound, who greets us with joy. I can't recommend this place highly enough. Be sure to book in advance, as it's very popular with both tourists and locals.

I visited with my wife and friends for a meal and drinks, and I have to say, it was an excellent experience. The selection of ales was impressive, and the menu was outstanding. I appreciate that all the food is locally sourced, with meat from Dart farms and fish from Brixham. The chef clearly knows what he's doing, and the beer is well-maintained. Very happy to post a review for the Tally Ho. Unfortunately for us, having moved to the area 4 years ago, this was the first time we visited the Tally Ho, but it certainly will not be our last. We loved the ambiance of the pub itself, a place to go for either a drink with friends or a delicious meal. The food was superb, the staff were very welcoming and friendly. If you live in the area or are visiting and haven't been to the Tally Ho you should try it, you will not be disappointed. It will not be long before we return.
