Super delicious and the staff is scary friendly and accommodating. For me personally the best Indian restaurant in Heidelberg.

The staff here would not even listen to you and just keep passing by. Had to wait for a long time to get food. Some of the mocktails that they served was like YUCK!

The menu, the taste, all very good. Cozy ambience, decent drinks selection, over all the place gives you a warm and perfect evening time with family. Definitely worth the visit.

Taj Mahal Tandoori can be recommended. They go beyond the standard menus of Indian restaurants in Germany, and the dishes we had were all very good: Vegetables were tasty, the same goes for the meat dishes, and the rice was properly cooked. In addition, they had many kinds of breads.

In the words of my friend there are two types of Indian restaurants. Rice ones and bread ones. Rice is a cheap filler to make up for small portions or poor quality so you at least leave full. Bread ones are where you are fighting for your scraps of bread to mop every bit from your plate. Sadly this is a rice place.Portions were underwhelming. The flavors were OK but nothing to write home about. For the price vs portion. Skip it.It does have lovely atmosphere and I found the staff pleasant as opposed to other reviewers.

This restaurant serves good indian food such as curries and tandoori dishes as well as your expected appetizers. Presentation, taste and freshness are good, but nothing exceptional. You pay for the well-dressed and mostly attentive waiters, the starched tablecloth and napkins.The entrees ranging from 18-30 Euros (less for vegetarian) are a bit on the pricey end for what is served. However, the restaurant has a classy, upscale atmosphere. For a casual diner looking for Indian food there might be better alternatives in Heidelberg (or Mannheim). Voir le carte
