Sunbeam Diner - Carte

Looks more like a cafe and very small. Doesn’t look smart like it’s part of parkdean though. Meals were ok though and service adequate. Not bad value either. Given not much choice tho they kinda have you don’t they?

We tried to have breakfast this morning, staff very rude, said our dog had messed on the pavement outside the restaurant, we where told to leave .at no point did my dog do any mess,, I will never go to the place again the rudest staff I have ever felt with

Got to be the worst chip shop I’ve been to in a long time. Greasy stodgy cold chips. Very small cold greasy fish with unpleasant tasting odd bright orange batter and a price I would expect to pay somewhere with very high standards. My recommendation would be to GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. Voir le carte

Great food and service even in the rain the chef went the extra mile preparing our food even in the queue in a busy period Cod cooked to perfection after a poor visit last season with this being one the few places open thought would give it a second shot and definitely changed my opinion and highly recommend

Visited Sunday after watching the straightliners on the beach. Kids were hungry and this was open. Decided to have Sunday roast nothing on the plates were fresh, everything was cooked from frozen and roast potatoes clearly just thrown in a chip pan! Needless to say for two days after I was ill with diarrhoea and awful stomach cramps. Will never eat here ever again!

I am shocked at the reviews, we have been to many top class restaurants so we would never eat somewhere that wasn’t a good standard, we have ate in the diner a number of times and have never had a complaint, staff really helpful and we always have a steak and it’s been spot on, we’ve paid £20 to £25 for a steak elsewhere so the prices at the diner really good, no pleasing some people Voir le carte

We were going to the beach for the day and thought we would have breakfast first, people near us had left most of theirs so should have known, ordered at the counter and waited 30 minutes, one egg, one slice of bacon, one half cooked sausage, tin mushrooms and 3 potatoes dots, ordered extra toast it is one slice. Drinks are costs coffee so they were ok, didn't get drinks till meals was served one at a time (there was only 2 of us) Poor customer service, even worse food, they have a captive audience but go elswhere

Shocking. 6 of us ordered 6 meals and drinks. We got 5 meals. when we asked where the missing meal was we were told we 'd only ordered 5. A brief complaint saw the missing meal delivered (slowly, without any apology, and without mention of payment). No further interaction from the staff. When we 'd finished and were leaving, the 'manager ' (an utterly inept child) confronted us like a store detective with a shop lifter, he 'd waited outside for us to leave, before saying we hadn 't paid for a meal! a clearly baffled security man was called, as was a superior staff member, while we were treated like petty criminals. Whilst staying at the adjoining holiday park we thought we would give this a go for some quick/cheap eats one eveing. Walking towards the premises we didn 't have high expectations, which was fine as all we wanted was some burgers and pizza. However, seeing the prices on the menu it was clear this was not 'cheap eats ' but a proper restaurant!We spent just over £60 for 2 adults and 2 kids which was mains, 2 pints and 2 kids soft drinks. When spending this amount usually we would be at a higher end restaurant or a nice country pub with proper home cooked food.So when we got served basic fast food meals we did feel a little duped!
