"My wife and I sat down to excellent Schnitzel here recently. The atmosphere was very 'gemutlisch'. The air was filled with delicious smells and warm laughter. It's definitely warmer down in the main room. The upstairs is a little cooler and quieter but you're going to have to duck a bit if you're over 5'8! The food was delicious. Our server was a little inexperienced and possessed no English at all (which isn't points against, but my German is poor, so as a tourist in a tourist town I always appreciate a little help with the wine list or the specials of the day). The do have an English menu which was quite helpful. All in all, an excellent night. Delicious food and a very authentic cultural experience!"

"let me first say that my 4 star rating is not the service that clearly a 5/5. the food itself was delicious and plentiful, a clear 5/5. the reason why I give this precious stone a 4/5 is that we insisted that. we wanted the dishes we ordered to be Indian hot the owner was pleased to see that we knew what was very sharp and said that this was not a problem. he said that often the people say they want their court very sharp, but when they are hit with the spicy court complaining that the court is too sharp we assured him that we meant it when we said that we wanted the dishes to be extra sharp. the dishes that came were excellent in quality, but were very mild. obviously he didn't take us on our word. When he came by to ask us how our meal times we were told to him that we hoped that they would have been really indian sharp, but they were anything but. He repeated how many people say they want hot, but they don't know how hot, hot. as we understood his position, it is still a shame that our request, which we had stressed, was still ignored. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for its excellent service and high quality ingredients. If you are like us, who want to be very sharp, I don't know how you'll make the owner believe you. we didn't make it."

"we have been on a Sunday evening with our elders in great plains and have received very warm welcome in the restaurant.The ambiente is very cozy, the music atmospheric and the places too big sharing on the windows.The dishes can be ordered either with or without buffet or even only the buffet alone (12.9€ the prices are absolutely appropriate! The rich buffet allows you to eat more than rich and gets the common eating more event character. Both the drinks and the eating itself came promptly!The meat is clearly in the middle and is served on the point! we had all different dishes and were completely satisfied! Surprisingly, we were occupied 4 tables within 3 hours of cumulatiw!We were asked several times for our satisfaction and were always able to complain. We'll be happy to come back!"

"Nach dem vierten Besuch über einen längeren Zeitraum (2 Jahre), ist es nun an der Zeit eine Bewertung zu schreiben.Das Haddows Gastwerk liegt mitten in Buxtehude und kann mit dem PKW nicht direkt angefahren werden. Parkmöglichkeiten, wenn man Glück hat, in einer Querstraße sonst ist ein kleiner Fußmarsch aus näherer Umgebung nötig, da Parkplätze in den Abendstunden rar.Das Haus erstreckt sich über drei Etagen. Das Erdgeschoß ist ebenerdig und stufenlos zu erreichen, daher behindertengerecht. Das sich die Toiletten im zweiten Stock, über eine Treppe zu erreichen, sollte berücksichtigt werden.Der in der Vergangenheit unangenehme Küchengeruch, der sich durch das ganze Haus zog, ist durch eine verbesserte Lüftungsanlage vermindert worden.Nun zu den Speisen und Getränken: wohlschmeckend, abwechslungsreich, Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt. Diese Aussage gilt auch für die Getränke. Kurz gesagt: "Gepflegte Speisen und Getränke". Das bei unserem letzten Besuch Grappa und Sambuca verwechselt wurde, sehen wir gerne nach. denn der Service war ansonsten ohne Makel, aufmerksam (nimmt die Garderobe ab und hilft wieder in den Mantel) und sehr freundlich. Wir kommen gerne wieder."
