Another wonderful Indian meal. The flavors were fantastic, the portions were decently sized, and the service was friendly. This is definitely the best Indian takeaway in Deal.

Yet another first class take a way! Always delicious, stunning food. Good portion sizes always enough to enjoy a ‘ second round’ for lunch the next day we try to get a least a couple of new dishes each time and are so pleased with our choices. Originally from Cheshire I'm visiting Deal with family. I came across this Indian and as a family we love Indian, well what can I say... as a family we all said it was the best Indian we have ever had. The food is fantastic, the price is fantastic and the service is fantastic. Please visit if your looking for a good Indian you will not be disappointed. Thank you Indian star.

Full 5 out of 5. Don’t get to Deal as often as I would like, but this is my go-to place for an Indian takeaway. The service is always pleasant, speed of getting my meal is quick, and the food is GREAT! I always go for something a little bit spicy and sometimes it can fall short of what you seek. The food here lives up to what the menu says it will be like. Very happy. Will definitely come back again.

I have written a review before, but I have to do it again! Last night, we had a meat thali, lamb tikka garlic, and a side dish of sabji curry with special rice. All of it was truly amazing! Hats off to you all for consistently fantastic food, but this meal was the most delicious ever. Thank you so much for another wonderful meal! THE BEST INDIAN WE’VE EVER HAD! We’ve been on the hunt for an impressive Indian takeaway/restaurant in east Kent for a while, and after multiple mediocre curry’s, I’m so glad we stumbled across Star of India in Deal. I’m struggling to describe how impressed we are with the food, service and price. But to put it in to context, we live 45 minutes away from the restaurant and will be driving here when we fancy our next Indian, because the quality of food is that much higher than everywhere else. Would recommend every time.

We have ordered from this restaurant several times and the food has always been good. However, during our most recent order, both dishes we ordered were supposed to be different but ended up being served in the same bland and tasteless sauce. The prices are quite high for takeout, so we will not be ordering from here again based on this experience. In Deal, there are not many Indian takeout options, and this restaurant was supposed to be the best. It is surprising that they offer a huge variety of dishes but seem unable to cook them all separately.

We usually eat at Dine India when we come to Deal, but thought we would stay in and try takeaway from this place instead due to the good reviews. The portions were a good size and the delivery was perfectly on time. They were also nice enough to give us quite a few free poppadums and dips. However the food wasn’t great. The chilli chicken dish was very good, but the sheekh kebab a was pretty much inedible. We also ordered a lamb vindaloo but got chicken instead, even though the container was marked lamb. The online ordering system (via both the website and the app) is very poorly designed and organised, and lacks detail on the dishes themselves. The app also crashed on me twice and emptied m...
