"The food at this restaurant is excellent! Even the peas on my Gammon Eggs were outstanding. The Mad Goose, Jail Ale, and Doom Bar ales were all kept well. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff is friendly and attentive. There was even a live band playing outside. What more could you ask for on a Friday night? I highly recommend visiting or revisiting this place (this was my second visit in a week)."

We celebrated my sisters 70th Birthday and it was so nice they put up banners and put decoration and a birthday card on table for when we arrived. The food as usual was very good as was the service.

This is one of the most welcoming pubs we have ever been to. Everything was perfect and we were made to feel right at home by the staff and the locals. We traveled 30 miles just to dine and drink here, and it's not the first time we've made the journey.
