This is a fine dining restaurant in the centre of Leipzig. The food and service were good. Nice touch that there was a choice of two menu's. For a one Michelin star restaurant it's expensive. Worth a visit Voir le carte

we had spent an excellent evening there. perfectly cooked menu with a fantastic dessert. very good wein recommendation of the personal. ok, ambiente is a bit cool, but that didn't disturb us.The service was very polite and accommodating.We have not regretted this issue.

you will be taken very friendly in reception even when entering the restaurant. the excellent service, which did not appear to be urgent at any time, continued throughout the evening in the most pleasant way. the 7 gangs menu can be considered excellent without restriction. I would like to emphasize not least the very pleasant and unobstructed species of the couple of Schlegel.Thank you for the beautiful evening in their house.

pointed kitchen paired with excellent service in a stylish restaurant. in the restaurant the clear simple line appears. here are the spits of the star. the foods were all sensational and visually very appealing and creatiw directed. every gang a pleasure. each detail was in itself conclusive, each ingredient was crafty perfect. the tasteful tuning of the individual components was excellently matched and the choice of the weine excellent. we had a wonderful evening after an interesting cooking course. every gang a pleasure our best star experience for 10 years. As is to be expected from a restaurant which has earned a Michelin star we had a nice, pleasant dinner! There was, of course, no problem for them to prepare my meal gluten free. Equally obvious is that meals are expensive here, but still not...outrageously so. Two, admittedly rather minor, issues makes me give the rating four instead of five Slight lack of attention in filling up or wine glasses when empty (the bottle was behind us). They couldn't (didn't) make me an irish coffee, as it apparently wasn't in their repertoire (in a similar situation in a small restaurant in Berlin last year they promptly improvised a scottish coffee If/when we come back to Leipzig we may very well go back for...

This is a very special treat probably one of the best restaurants in Germany and awarded a Michelin one star. It is situated behind the glass facade of the Gewandhaus concert hall. The taste is delightful and the food is presented so visually attractively. Stadtpfeiffe is Is a small restaurant in the Gewandhaus complex where every detail is considered. Our welcome was warm as our coats were taken. We were led to a large table that overlooked the room. Offers of champagne or sekt were quick. We chose a sekt from the region as we’re not likely to ever see Leipzig sekt anywhere else. Menus appeared along with a few amuse bouches. The menu selection was different. It was broken in to two different menus you could have the entire one or the other six courses or fewer or mix and match between the two menus.
