"This is a review of an eat in meal. The price of the food suggested it was going to be good, because it isn’t cheap . I have eaten here twice. The first time, I had an English cooked breakfast. That was pretty poor. Cheap ingredients . But I figured it might be because they don’t specialise in full English breakfasts, so I decided to call in again and have a desi special breakfast and desi tea. Very disappointing. Basically oily scrambled eggs with peppers and things in it, plus baked beans and a dry roti type flat bread. Nothing to justify the £6.50 price. Desi tea , pointless and not very nice for £1.50. Just disappointing. They seem very busy with takeaway delivery orders. Perhaps that is where they concentrate. But I don’t think I’ll give that a try."

The food at this restaurant was delicious and served hot. My husband and I both ordered a full English breakfast and it was fantastic.

The food was good, but I ended up getting diarrhea. The salad could have been fresher and the jacket potato could have been better cooked.

Really good food and great service, had the jumbo breakfast box and everything was cooked to perfection. New lads in there are doing something different now.

We often order from this restaurant on Fridays because the food is delicious and reasonably priced. We have no complaints as we all enjoy the warm and tasty dishes.

The restaurant offers a delicious combination of Asian and Western cuisine. The service was exceptional, and I enjoyed a fantastic breakfast that was served promptly.

One cold sausage cut into four pieces with raw onion for £3.80. The cob had inedible mould on it. Overall, the dish was vile and a waste of money. I will never be dining here again.

I have tried the Desi breakfast that has the spicy scrambled egg with a parantha. Also tried their Parontha and Chhole (chickpea curry) the other day. The chickpea curry was so good I actually called the restaurant and thanked them while I was eating it. Absolutely delighted. Clean place and very good quality food.

I ordered a jacket potato with two toppings, my choices were cheese and chicken tikka, and it came with a side salad. The price was £2.70, which I think is great value for a light lunch. The jacket potato itself was pretty average, so I wouldn't give it a 4 or 5 star review. The cheese was as expected, and the salad was a basic mix of lettuce, tomato, cucumber, and onion. However, the chicken tikka was delicious and a good portion size. Overall, it was a decent meal for the price, but just a standard jacket potato.

"My friend and I wanted somewhere different to go for some late lunch and so we decided on the Cosy Club. Although my friend had been once before a while back, it was my very first time visiting. As you walk in, you're greeted with an almost vintage-y feel and it's great! Old paintings upon the wall and retro furniture too, but that's not all. Ascending the stairs to the top, we got to the first bit of the club which is the bar area and what a fab area it is too, to relax and enjoy and Beveridge or two. Further down is where the restaurant is located and a lovely restaurant it is too. Very ornate with a fancy oldy-worldy vibe, almost like stepping back in time. The decor and glass chandeliers make for a very luxurious, almost palatial feel. The staff were really friendly and showed us to a table where after a short time of waiting, we had water poured for us before choosing what we'd like to eat and drink. I decided to go for the dirty chicken burger and I'm glad I did. The portion size was great, and there was plenty going on in the burger; the flavours were tantalising! Everything was cooked really well and tasted good (oh and the berry cider they have is certainly worth a try! After spending time enjoying our meal, we paid for the bill and were able to make our way, with our drinks, to the bar area to take a sit and enjoy the vibe further. I would certainly recommend the Cosy Club to anyone looking for something different, with a cool vibe and great food. Thank you to the staff for a pleasant and enjoyable visit, will certainly be returning! :"
