"Honestly the worst place to eat and the service is horrendous. No system and staff don't seem to know anything about costumer service. Lasgna was horrendous.... I was handed such a small portion of mince onion and pasta with cheese melted which was burnt. No tomato or white sauce. Disgusting. However it's good to see the locals and friendly faces. :"

"I love Indian food and the food at Babu’s does not disappoint. I’m happy to drive 30 minutes to get here as other more local establishments do not compare . The ingredients are fresh and authentic. The meat is all very good quality. The menu is varied and extensive but my favourite of all is the Butter chicken I do not like spice) My hubbys fav he does like spice) is now the Chicken Methi Special. He also loves the Garlic chili Chicken. The pilau rice great flavour and fluffy . The onion Bhaji are delicious. Portions are a great size . One dish between 2 people would probably do but we always get 2 dishes and starters to share. Overall it’s a great take away Indian . The only downside are the chips basic frozen fries that do go soggy on the journey home but you don’t come here for the chips !! It’s the authentic Indian dishes . There is the option to sit in but it is up a steep set of stairs so may not be suitable for all. The menu is fully available online and ordering online is quick and straight forward . Staff are friendly and efficient and the place is well organised . Give it a try I don’t think you’ll be disappointed"

"Clean, comfortable coffee shop. Beautiful food, never had a disappointment. They cater for all kinds of conditions too, (including those trying to lose weight)! Lovely scones and traybakes if you are not trying to lose weight, or wish to cheat on the diet???? Very disabled friendly Coffee not great though, very little flavour which is sad, used to be best around. Still a favourite for lunch and breakfast though."

"This will be a brief review as we drove by on a Sunday morning on a trip that had been planned quickly and this was on our route to somewhere else. This place is in a very small village on the Main Street. It's a place we would normally never be in on a Sunday. As we drove by, we saw from an on street blackboard that they offered a Sunday roast dinner for £4.95 this is a price that you could hardly make it for. Long story short we pulled up and bought one; turkey and ham. The dish had really generous slices of the two meats as well as carrots, parsnips and Brussels sprouts. All the food was tasty and its remarkable they can offer this value on quality. We think gravy was offered but found when we got home there was no potato, which was a surprise as it's a dinner staple in these parts. It was still quite early on in the day we did throw the lady server a bit asking fir lunch at that early time and maybe the spuds just weren't ready but that aside the portions, quality and genuine value for money that was offered was excellent."
