Really enjoyable meal. Great value and great quality. Will definitely be going again! The duck pancakes were possibly the best I have had in London!!

I have been going to Sinh Le's since I was a kid. we used to go every Sunday for the buffet. It is without a doubt one THE best Chinese buffets around. You can't beat Sinh Le's!

I had a fantastic dining experience at this restaurant. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was very inviting. Although the portions were a bit small and the prices were a bit high, the quality of the food definitely made up for it. The manager and waiter were both very polite and accommodating. Come here every year!! Food is absolutely incredible!!! Suitable for everyone ! Absolutely 100% worth every penny !!! Staff are very intimidating unfortunately I have to say.. the last time I paid a visit, they stood very near to us whilst we was eating our food.. watching us in a way... felt quite intimidated by this.. felt quite rushed however everything else absolutely amazing... great service, food arrives quite quickly,always a table availiable, food is outstanding I'd definately come back!!!

I went to this restaurant for dinner on a Friday evening and was very disappointed with the service. The waiters were rude, impatient, and gave us attitude. The food was just okay, nothing special. We had to wait a long time for our main course, even though the restaurant was not busy. On top of everything, there was a service charge added to the bill. Overall, it was a waste of Friday night. I do not recommend this restaurant, you're better off finding Chinese food somewhere else. I definitely will not be returning.

Loving Chinese food we were not disappointed with the attention to detail our server GAIL could not have done more, we opted to try set menu B crispy seaweed prawn toast and spring rolls all delicious! The mains great too and the special rice was excellent! The portion were not overwhelming but with 3 courses we left feeling happy! Very happy! If it’s slick surroundings over food quality not for you! Saying that I love a white tablecloth and good food and service any day over slick decor, and added atmosphere was the constant rumbling of the circle line train ps note 12.5 service charges but here at least they deserve it! I have lived in this area since I was a kid and I remember Sinh Le when it was just a takeaway service in the 1980s. Even back then, the food was much better than other Chinese restaurants in the East End. I have tried Chinese restaurants all over London, including China Tang at the Dorchester which I booked for my husband's birthday. However, Sinh Le still remains superior. I have yet to find better Chinese food in London than what they serve at this quiet restaurant. My family has been coming here for over 30 years, even though we have all moved away from the East End. It is still worth the trip. Their Sunday buffets are hands down the best in London. I highly recommend.

My wife and i have lived in the Whitechapel area for over ten years, and Sinh Le has ever since i moved here been one of the best Chinese restaurants I have ever had the pleasure of eating in. I have never had a bad meal in the Sinh Le. The food is always remarkably good, and the service is consistently attentive, even when they are understaffed and the place is full. We went to the Sinh Le today for a Sunday Buffet for Mothers' Day, and we were not disappointed. The food was mouthwateringly good, and even though they were packed, we were served well and had a lovely experience. We've been to sinh le a few times before, and generally there only been about 2 or 3 other tables in use despite being a large restaurant. However this year we came for valentines and almost every table was surprisingly full. The staff were fairly rude from the offset, but I brushed it off as they were clearly overworked: 3 waitresses to dozens of tables. However they really didn't seem to care or listen to us. My girlfriend asked questions about a couple of dishes and got vague uninformative answers, fairly standard.
