This restaurant has no drinks licence, so you bring your own with no charge. Good number of special dishes I've never seen before and all could be customised at time of ordering to your level of heat. A little slow to serve, but very busy including a huge birthday party on the first floor that evening.

We were on holiday from Fife, We were looking for a good restaurant and advised by a local to try here. Absolutely fantastic, from advice on our meals to the excellent staff, the food was superb, we tried it on a Friday and went back on the Saturday it was that good Highly recommend. This unassuming restaurant in a fairly miserable parade of shops blew us away with the quality of the food and efficient, unobtrusive service. I Pre-ordered a meal to be delivered at a specific time. My family came over to enjoy a meal together. My family enjoy spicy food but generally eat around Sutton. The meal arrived exactly on time. It arrived perfectly as ordered and piping hot. All of my family said it was the best meal they had ever had. We enjoy silsila regularly but it was lovely to hear my family compliment the meal so much. Thank you for helping make a great night for us all.

The staff at Silsila were very friendly and accommodating. They gave us little extras eg we commented how nice the mint yogurt sauce was and they brought us more. The food was very tasty and good value. One thing to note is they do not sell alcohol but you can bring your own and there is an off licence a couple of doors down so very handy. Unfortunately we dont live in the area but if you are in the Rugeley/Cannock area we would definitely recommend visting.

We tried this restaurant/takeaway because of the high customer feedback but sadly our experience was very poor. I ordered online for collection but the food was tepid, the Naan breads were cold, the curry sauce flavourless and one of the containers hadn’t been sealed properly and had been squashed by another container so the sauce leaked through the paper bag into the plastic carrier bag. Lucky it wasn’t just the paper bag! Admittedly the portions were larger than some but that didn’t make up for the almost cold food. We have three Indian/Bangladeshi takeaways nearer than the Silsila and whilst they aren’t much better, they are closer. Voir le carte
