Excellent service for our party of 23 people food excellent and quick service for such a large group Couldn’t fault our visit

I've never had a bad one in 8yrs and it's always 5* in my eyes. New paint job as it always is once a year and great service and food get there yourself.

The food is excellent the service is so slow and poor it’s almost funny, clearly the kitchen cannot cope at peak times with all the restaurant orders and takeaways and I am sure they are doing there best, but as a customer you are left hungry and frustrated

Went here on 5th November 2023. We walked in and the place was empty apart from people waiting for takeaways, so I got a bit apprehensive. I shouldn't have as it turned out to be fantastic. The meal was fantastic. The food was fresh, hot and very tasty. The place was empty, I believe with it being the 5th of November. While we were sat there the place never stopped with people coming in for takeaways. Will definitely be going back

We had the best dining experience at Shurovi! A group of 5 of us dined here yesterday on the recommendation of a friend and were blown away by the delicious meal. The chicken pakora and chicken tikka were phenomenal. We tried a variety of curries, all bursting with flavor, including South Indian Garlic Chicken, Chicken Tikka Masala, Saag Aloo, Saag Paneer, and Lamb Shashlick Balti, served with a selection of sides. The portions were generous and everything tasted absolutely amazing. The garlic naan was a standout, and the fluffy rice was easy to enjoy. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to accommodate our preferences. We will definitely be back for another meal at Shurovi! Voir le carte

Shurovi is the best- A lovely delicious restaurant. Enjoyed a great evening on Friday evening at Shurovi with family. The service and presentation were excellent. Really authentic quality food, lovely restaurant setting with great service from very helpful and friendly servers. We shared starters of Onion Bhaji, Sizzling Fish and Vegetable Samosa- all were delicious and served with delicious and interesting garnishes- we loved the mint sauce. Lamb Shashlick was slow cooked with peppers and onions and was really tender, the Butter Chicken was rich and indulgent and the Chicken Tikka was well spiced and all were really generous portions. Visited here with friends as we frequently do due to the vast menu and friendly staff. Last night will be our last time. We were shown to our table, ordered drinks and food and decided on poppadoms whilst we waited. Within minutes, a friend noticed a maggot crawling across his plate whilst another one was on his poppadom. Staff were alerted immediately who then instantly looked up at the ceiling as if that was the source. They offered to move us away from that area to another section. Neither staff members were shocked or surprised at our incident. Needless to say, moving tables does not solve the problem and their lack of reaction gave me the impression these two maggots had a whole family...

AVOID!!! MAGGOTS dropping from ceiling!!! As a frequent visitor since moving to Guisborough two years ago I would never ever disrespect a small business but this is absolutely disgusting what we encountered. Just finishing up the poppadoms and pickle tray when one of the party said oh my god what’s that … a live Maggot wriggling across the table. On lifting up a plate another one! On informing the waiter he looked straight up at the ceiling and didn’t look phased or shocked in the slightest. He said would you like to move to the back of the restaurant to which we declined and said we wanted to leave. We asked if they would like us to pay for drinks but the waiter was too busy adding up bills... Voir le carte
