If you want a hot curry challenge go elsewhere. It can be a bit noisy, this place is packed. Extensive drinks list. So top rate curry for those who like taste, wide choice of drinks and great service once seated. Just packed to the rafters and slow to get a table, and that loses it the star, not the food. I nearly forgot competitively priced and very good portion sizes. Parking: Parking is tight on street, narrow streets and hugely popular place."

We had a wonderful experience at Shukur's that left us feeling very satisfied. The staff were charming, the food was exquisite, and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. Heard good things about this place so decided to give it a try. Staff very attentive, food well presented and delicious. The complimentary expresso martini afterwards was well received. My only very tiny criticism was there could have been a little more light in the restaurant it was a little dark my photos would have been better too thank you Shukurs for a lovely evening Price per person: £30–40
