Celebrated seeing in the New Year here, first visit and we were all impressed. Great atmosphere, the staff were excellent and the food was delightful.

This is a fantastic pub that hosts beer festivals and also offers a traditional bowls alley that can be rented. They serve real ale and food, making it definitely worth a visit.

had a trip over and came over this place glad that we stopped eating was really nice and personal were great, eating came quite fast worth the money, the place inside is really nice and cozy and toilets very clean.

the shrewsbury arms is always a joy to visit. the staff is as friendly and welcoming as eating is generous and delicious. the pub has always a warm, cozy atmosphere and very important for us dog friendly! without hesitation recommended.

We hadn't booked and though only a Thursday all restaurant tables were taken so we needed to eat in the bar. Service was perhaps a little slow. The lamb shank I chose was very tender and tasty though the sauce a touch salty. My choice of dessert was unavailable.

omg we had the common platter on Sunday afternoon (18.7.21), it was absolutely delicious! the best eating of all time! such a wonderful meal, so tasty, and great worth, high quality food and brilliant service by harrison. we will definitely return and bring the family

We came for my birthday meal on Thursday. We were a big party and the whole evening went smoothly, this place can really accommodate for larger groups. The service (Jana and Ben I think it was), atmosphere and food were just amazing. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

Bistro-style pub with high quality food and a lot of choice on the menu. fair number of parking spaces for her car, but it is a very busy place, but there is the possibility to park on the street. there are many sitting opportunities outside in the very intelligent garden with sunshades to protect them from the sun making it ideal for a warm day. the interieur is also very smart with a lot of seating, but I would book at the weekend. the personal is excellent, very fast to serve with means of living to their table in a timely manner. I have no hesitation to recommend this pub that has eaten several times there.

Nice atmosphere. Nice drinks, lovely food. live music Update.... Visited for dinner yesterday , covid procedures fully in place. Staff welcoming and professional during these testing times. Went out tocelebrate my 40th Freshly prepared food, my meal was swapped without hesitation as i found it too oily. Fabulous zombie cocktail! Hope to stay longer once the 10pm curfew is lifted. Edit!! Yet again absolutely wonderful service,and food. I didn't take any photos as we were having such a lovely time celebrating our wedding anniversary.
