"we have made a last-minute reservation for the new year's dinner. good music all night, eating was delicious and all night over plentiful. at 23 o'clock we wanted to look for fireworks and asked the owner for suggestions, he offered us to meet him and his family who had gathered for the new year in the restaurant. they made a small area where everyone could dance and play different music. At midnight he gave us champagne and invited us to play with him, his family and his associates with fireworks. we stayed until 1 o'clock in the morning. very cozy and nice people."

we were there for lunch and had buffet. in the restaurant smells very unpleasant and also eating tastes boring. Not only I was plagued after by nausea and gromming.

we were there by chance and it was really very good!I recommend the lemon-marinated garnele with their nice friendly service and elevated environment (inner terrace with fountain) correct prices! Voir le carte

Maybe it wouldn't be fair to rate them for a quick chicken rice box. I didn't like it, though. I may try a proper meal in the restaurant in the future. but take the quick chicken rice box... never again.

the local is very nice and eating tastefully good. However, the selection at the midday buffet has left much to be desired. only 3 dishes and a suppe. the damentoilette would have needed a customer service, at least this was the case today.

we were in the past always done by eating and service. The service is still very nice and accommodating. The eating was only moderate! We ordered lenses with cream cheese. the food was lukewarm, the cream cheese was not fried, but simply nipped. there was a big Christmas party, maybe we were hired helpful...We were disappointed. this is a small snack or caffe without table service. order them at the counter and pick them up their food when it's ready. it has approx. 6 tables and a small bar. they have a decent menu selection, but no naan! ! my lamb vindaloo was moist, even a little tasteless. they have a limited selection of alcohol, but my white wine was very good.

indian restaurant in the lively part of the city of altona. large areas. normal eating in this type of restaurant, nothing noticeable. there is the same as in all Indian restaurants. also normal prices. what should be improved is the friendliness and attentiveness of the waiters, which, in my opinion, leaves much to be desired. everything was in order until we ordered and it seems that they didn't like them enough, after which the waiters passed us. Anyway, there's a big choice in this area of the city, so I'll go somewhere else next time and the next one too.

"There's always a question (in my mind, anyway) as to Michelin's accuracy/usefulness outside of France. In the US, it's not very helpful at all and in Europe ex-France, I've found it hit and miss. Haerlin represented only my second stab at a two-star in Germany and the first meal (Heinz Winkler), while a thoroughly wonderful overall experience, felt like the second star might have been a stretch. Not so at Haerlin, this was a two-star meal that stands fork-to-fork with any I can remember. The food is stylized to within an inch of its life, but close to flawless in both conception and execution. Outside of a large selection of generally unremarkable breads and a luke-warm roasted onion broth added to an amuse at table side that probably should have been hotter, the meal was simply one perfect dish after another. Maybe the sorbet intermezzo was a little old school in such a fashion forward meal, but - hey - it was delicious! Keep it.The room is suitably formal, luxurious in a traditional style, and quite comfortable. The pace of service might be a little leisurely for some (I ate alone and the four-course menu (seven + courses, including amuses, etc) pushed it a bit, stretching just over three hours. However, the friendly and attentive staff kept an eye out the entire time and stopped by if the time between courses presented the opportunity. The somm, in particular, was a great diversion, visiting from time to time to discuss the varied and interesting wines on offer. He provided useful insight into the outstanding selection of trocken Rieslings on the list. He guided me to a 2001 Burklin-Wolf GG that, at Eu 150, was both a great bottle of mature white and a tremendous value for a wine of this quality in this type of restaurant. (Good luck finding a white burgundy of this quality at this price at any multi-star restaurant - or at retail, for that matter.) He also suggested a wonderful German Pinot Noir by the glass that worked perfectly with the meat course and wasn't terribly expensive. The list is extensive, but not the tome you see at some restaurants, but don't be fooled - wine service at Haerlin is both a major plus and represents notable value in the context of multi-star restaurants.I'm not going to argue two-star vs three-star because that distinction often seems to be kind of mysterious (and tangentially related to the food), but I will say that this place certainly deserves two stars. I had just a flat-out great meal. If you can work in a visit, Haerlin should be high on your list."
