This restaurant is good but not special.Prices reasonable. Good if you fancy asian food on the way from here to there

I had the won ton soup and the Peking duck and shrimp combo. Both were excellent with great flavor and looked great, too.

The food is fantastic and the staff excellent! I can highly recommend their duck dishes. The food is quite authentic and prices are reasonable. Nice for all kinds of diners! Voir le carte

Authentic Vietnamese food is what I felt...though I have never been to Vietnam. The staff was very helpful in suggesting what type of food to order. The place may be very crowded in the evenings so better book...very close to the Museums in Berlin.

Came for lunch. A little confused by the establishment first as there are two restaurants with this on the left. They're isolated enough so it's not super jarring. Beautiful atmosphere and fast service. Many menu choices, we shared sushi... that was great and much for us. Would definitely recommend if you are in the area!

Shi-Mai claims to be offering real vietnamese style food. However, I could find none of the typical crisp flavours, fresh herbs etc that you would expect. Instead, spring rolls with bleak flavor and nouc cham replaced with a standard bottle sauce. BBQ Duck was ok, but the rice and sauce that came with it was spoiling the dish. Locale is low style. Visited here on the last night of our break to Berlin. The food was delicious!The menu has many pictures of the food available which aids your choice.Service was a little lacking with many of the staff standing around chatting behind the bar rather than attending to customers. I would highly recommend the seafood wok and the red chicken curry was tasty too. Desserts are limited.Cocktails are on happy hour in the evenings and good value for money.Def worth a visit.

Sometimes when you crave Asian food in strange place i.e. Europe, you just have to walk around and hope that you find one and it is good. I walked around this cluster of restaurants and spotted Shi-Mai and saw what their customers eating and it looked delicious. It didn't disappointed me. My beef grilled was tasty, vegetables was perfectly sautéed, I got hot and sour soup too. I also tried Saigon street ice coffee which is OK not as good as my favorite Thai ice coffee.

We felt very unwelcomed by the waitress, and we thought this was because we dont speak German. She also constantly looked angry at us like we were doing something wrong. But we were just eating. It was also very obvious she didn't want to converse...with us. And we saw at others tables that the waitress immediately took the empty plates away when the costumers were finished, but she clearly avoided our table. Then she finally came to us when I had my debit card out when she was at the table next to us. And after I payed she almost ran away from out table without saying goodbye. But other then the awful and unfriendly service was the food very delicious. Voir le carte
